I would say the 7-08 as well. My 10 year old son shot a elk, deer and javi. last year with his. All were one shot kills. The round preformed very well.

Just was curious to what set ups you guys have used. My son will be turning 10 at the beginning of next year and wanted to get him set up for spring turkey.

I read it has a lot to do with the feed that the cows eat. If its a wet winter then the feed is better, which turns into stored fat for the cows which throws them into estrus at a earlier point in the year. Not sure if that's true

They are doing calls now for cards that didn't go through. My buddy just got a call for a early archery bull tag

I agree that they should do away with the call back if you card doesn't go through the first time. About five years ago I missed a small detail on the check and blew my loyalty and bonus points for elk along with my fathers and buddy's due to the fact they were on the same app. I didn't get a call saying summit another check. I just had to take it for what it was, as should those with bad cards.

Yeah I was going to put in until I found that out. I heard its a trial run and if sales fall of they will go back to un guided. We will see!
