I'd also try Desertbull out. I think he offers a scouting service. -

It looks like someone planted a tree at the dump. The amount of trash they leave behind is crazy. Keven

Something really needs to be done. The illegals are turning beautiful prime hunting lands into a giant garbage dump.People in the cities don't realize the amount of destruction illegals leave in their wake.Hopefully the laws already in place can be enforced. Keven -

All these posts on this have opened my eyes. I realize now that I have been ignorant of the way G&F runs things. Like Keith said earlier I thought hunts were run by biologists surveying habitat conditions and the animal populations. I didn't think politics played any role in it. I love hunting in Arizona and did not have any problems with the way hunts have been ran. When I learned that G&F wanted to change the hunt structure I assumed there were sound reasons for doing so. We all know what happens when you assume. My wife and I took the deer survey with the understanding that it would be a valuable input for the Commisioners. When they dismissed the survey and after reading all the posts I know now I need to attend the meetings. Hopefully someone here can post when and where they are and we can make a difference. Keven

Congratulations on your turkey. That coues rack is what dreams are made of. Were you in Chihuahua or Sonora ? I think Casey might be pretty close I put him just over 140. I'd take him out of the woodpile and put him on the wall. Keven

Congratulations. Looks like you'll have a good companion there. He is almost as fat as he is cute. Keven -
I hunted there years ago also. I was in Hunter canyon with access off of hwy 92. It was good hunting if I remember correctly three of the four of us got good bucks. One of the largest bodied coues I have ever seen was actually down in the san pedro river bottom. He had great massive antlers also but was just a two point. Keven

The AZ One Shot Challenge

I think maybe I've lost my mind but I'm agreeing with Lark. Lets all get out there and hunt and be responsible for our own actions. Don't give the anti's any more ammo then they already got. Hunt smart, hunt hard and hunt safe. Keven -

AWESOME. You picked an open mouth for your first mount? Great job and Great deer. Keven -
Very well said Scottyboy. I also have hunted bears over bait in Canada and spot and stalked them here in Arizona. I have hunted the brush country of Texas overlooking senderos and the high desert in Idaho. Its all Hunting and its all Good. I personally prefer to hunt coues deer buts thats because I am crazy. I killed a bear over bait in Alberta and it was on the fourth day of a five day hunt and it was the first bear I saw. Tha patience to sit in the stand with a billion huge hungry mosquitos swarming around you is hard to find. I also have been on coues deer hunts that were relatively easy and some that almost killed me. I think as long as you know in your heart that the animal has a sporting chance then its all right. Keven Heres a pic of my Alberta bear Heres a pic of an Alberta whitetail that I shot during a blizzard while sitting on top of a windmill. I was pretty sure heck almost froze that day. It was cooooold.
