I picked up an X-2 last year. I believe it is waterproof, it looks it, however I haven't had it out in the rain.

I'm 62 and tip the scales at 215, (about 50# more than I want.) I try to ride my bike at least ten miles every other day. More as we get closer to opening day. I also climb stairs at work. Starting in Oct. I'll wear my pack with 40# in it. I'll drop 10 or 15 # but I'll climb the hills a lot easier. I just hate to diet so that makes it hard to drop the weight I need. Bottom line ... anything you do will help, but it probably won't be enough when you're 3/4 up the hill you need to on top of.

I love my doctors however, there is a pair of vortex viper 15 x 60's in the ads for trade. Doctors are getting real hard to find.

Dogs usually get bitten on the head and usually recover with no aftereffects. Keep an eye out for infections though.

I'm thinking about booking a buffalo hunt out of state. Does anyone have any experience with an outfitter you would recommend? Not interested in a corral shoot, looking for something at least resembling a hunt. Thanks in advance. Pat.

A friend gave me a fairly large refrigerator he didn't need any more. I can hang all of my coues in there at 35 to 40 degrees for 3 or 4 days no problem. The rest of the year it holds beer.
