Montana rifle might have just what you need.

Thanks guys. I've been wanting to have a 257 Roberts built to replace the custom job the thiefs got, so I think now I've got a good excuse. plus it'll work good for the grandkids coming up.

I found one at work that had a 12" rattlesnake in it's web. the snake was near dead and the spider was crawling all over it biting it. I never would have guessed that.

The cats played as if they knew there was no way they could win. It seems as if they always have that attitude with UCLA.

Many times teenage girls look for boys that remind them of their fathers, so be the type of man you want your daughter to marry. You are the male example that she will look for.

I think most eastern whitetail are 1/3 to 1/2 again larger than our coues. I think Oneshot would agree with me on this. Another thing to consider is most shots are less than the 300- 400 yard shots we seem to find common in Az. Most hunters are probably not using magnum calibers.

That is awesome. Good of you to post this also.

I commend his spirit and willingness to serve. Just remember enlisted men and women are nothing but cannon fodder. He should stay in school and go ROTC. The only group of people who lie better than recuiters are politicions. If it isn't in writing then the military won't stand by it.

Way back when I was a kid, your license was good for one year from date of purchase. Sometime in the late 50's or early 60's they changed to January to December, I remember my dad thought it was a scam by the state to rob the working man. It seems the more things change the more they stay the same.

I'm pretty sure that it is a "Large Squashme" spider, usually found under my boot.

I took a couple of classes back in the 80's / 90's thru pima cc. I'd check with the community colleges in the area. Art for personal development, non credit classes. Good luck.

Good looking dog. Lots of memories to be made there.

I'm with Viper... anyway every hunter I've ever talked with called them "cooze". Only "know-it-all" jackass's call them cows. At least that's what my dad said about 50 years ago.

Has anyone ever used the SPOT gen - 3 gps messenger? I have a niece traveling to Mt. Everest, New Zealand, and other places. I think this might be something good for her to take along, but have no experence with this. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Two years ago, I was hunting in 34A when a Border Patrol came in the area. We saw each other and waved. He came over to me. I open the bolt and cleared the chamber on my rifle, and removed the mag and cleared the chamber on my sidearm before he got close, but in view of him. We had a nice talk and I told him of some activity I had seen, and he left. All in all a pleasent 15 minute interuption to my evening hunt. I have lived in southern Arizona all my 64 years and I'll hunt wherever I get drawn. No SOB from any other country is going to change that.

Looks real nice. Where is your forge located?

Great hunt and a real good write-up.

I still use one I made myself in a knive making class put on by a guy named McLane. He taught for several years at pima college before he moved to Vermont or New Hampshire or somewhere. Great knive, gutted and skinned two elk and two coues before it needed sharpening.

I always see mulies around Mt. Fagan. Again stay lower rather than higher.
-
Thats what he gets for shooting the biggest.
-
I remember reading about that. Good to see that they got it fixed.

Hey, I'm all-american... the bigger the better. If I could only hunt one, it would have to be the mulie. On a side note, if you could have only one tag would you take a dec. coues tag or a early bull tag?
