10MM isnt too bad. in My opinion much easier on the ears than a 44 mag.

You're paying for the ability to see more wildlife and hunt harder. Theres a lot less time wasted on trying to figure out whether that rock is a deer or having to stop and rest your eyes. The quality of the glass allows for a lot less eye fatigue and more time spent in the glass. Also With better clarity i found it easier to catch movements.

I got a hold of her. Met with Eric today and picked up some reloading equipment. Thanks!

I’ve been trying to get a hold of her with no luck.

No offense but you're totally going to regret selling this dude. Especially being in 10mm.

That price range you're looking at the day-date and date just perpetual line. Submariners are shooting up in price due to the demand in Asia. They do hold their value well and would be a nice keepsake.

I've been really impressed with Duluth trading Co's line of Alaskan Hard Gear merinos as well as they're puffy vests and jackets. I work in very remote parts of Alaska and have put their stuff through the ringer. I also only buy darn tough socks. For me the Darn toughs are the most comfortable and don't stink. I wore a pair for ten days straight without washing and the didn't stink, get stiff, or cause foot issues.

Bigorange, I am a professional pilot in Alaska currently flying off airport hunting charters. I finished my ratings a couple years ago and am still involved in flight training out of Glendale and up here in Alaska. Shoot me a PM and we can talk if you'd like. Best advice I have is to not start flying till you have the cash in hand for the entire rating (5k-7k for your Private). Id highly recommend Angel Aviation out of Glendale or Fly Goodyear out of Goodyear. If you want to jump start your PPL id recommend purchasing the cessna Private pilot ground school course and start studying for your written test.

Browning x-bolt long range hunter

I have. not sure 280ai packs enough punch for the purpose of this gun. I'm looking for something that i may take to alaska someday. the savage comes in 338 lapua, and that is on the table, but ammo is expen$ive.... 28 nosler hits as hard as the lapua at 1000 yards. decisions, decisions. my gunsmith said and recommended that changing a '06 to a 280ai is a matter of a barrel swap. seems legit, but '06 ammo is cheap and falling out of the trees. hard to give that up. No offense but Alaska isn't a mythical beast of a state that requires field artillery to kill. Anything that you'd use in AZ will be perfectly fine up here. A .270 will take down anything up here although a standard 7mm or 300 win would probably better for brownies. Point of the story is .280AI,6.5CM,.270,etc.. are all more than efficient up here. Tis is coming from someone who has spent the last 2 and a half years flying freight and off airport hunting charters all over the state of Alaska. -
I don't think you could go wrong with either. Both fly really well and kill. shoot what you're confident in and what you like.

Man how many sweet rifles you got?!

Whustof Classic! Cutco is a good knife but they are a pain in the but to resharpen do to the micro-serrations they put on the blades and they are stamped stainless steel vs the Whustof's forged steel blade. More of a personal choice but the Whustof to me has a better heft and durability in the hand.

I'll take it if someone backs out!

I've shot them before. A lot of traditional hunters really like them as do I.
