Bond Arms Texas Defender darringer .45 acp with less than 20 rounds fired through it. This is a made in the U.S.A. heavy duty well made gun. You can order all sorts of extra barrels for it from .22 to .45/.410 from their website www.bondarms.com I'm selling the derringer, an inside the waistband holster, and some homemade elk antler grips for $350 obo.

I'm thinking about putting together a group fishing trip for the guys in my church, probably one of those all-night/all day charters. Can anybody recommend a reputable outfit out of San Diego? I don't want to learn about a bad outfit the hard way. Thanks in advance!

Thanks John! Bill, I think you're right..... dead of winter doesn't appear to be very productive. I was looking for something in the Spring, hopefully the counts are up then. Thanks again guys!

Thanks Amanda! I'll definitely look into it!

Manny, I am totally clueless on the kind of fish. I'm just looking for something that would be fun for a bunch of "land lubbers" Thanks for the info!

I imagine this topic has been covered in depth sometime in the past, but I was wondering about the safety of backpack hunting in some of the Southern units, particularly the ones with leftover tags since I was skunked this year. I've hunted 36b exclusively for 4 years and during those hunts called border patrol on two different occasions after spotting mules packing a number of bales of dope. I didn't ever bother calling in the non-dope packing illegals that I saw almost daily during each of the hunts. We camped in a safe area and travelled quite a bit to hunt. I don't think I would get much sleep in that area if I was packed in deep. Anyhow....I'd be interested in some opinions of those who know about the traffic in the other units. Thanks in advance!

Thanks guys. My cell phone is through Sprint and I seem to have signal at least on my glassing knobs. This will be my 4th year hunting the area (none of the tags my own ) and in all three previous years I found myself wondering why I left home without those numbers. Thanks AZP&Y.

I'm getting ready to head down to 36B for the December hunt and thought it would be a good idea to have Border Patrol's number programed into my cell phone. Does anyone know the number that I would use to report activity or alert someone if I was in trouble and pinned down by hostile drug smuggler fire?

Strip Super Raffle Buck
mtn-memories replied to pollohombre's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
This buck was NOT the Super Raffle buck. The tag was purchased at auction. There's a few more details at this link http://wassonhuntingservices.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=2429 -
Hi, I've been hunting 36B for the last 3 years with good success, however I've had a few encounters with illegals and several sightings. Nothing serious yet, just "guest" workers heading North. Now my teenage daughter is wanting to hunt Coues deer but is pretty intimidated about running in to drug runners and such. I'd really like to get my baby girl onto a good whitetail, but I want it to be a safe and quality experience. Does 36A have less traffic as a rule, seeing as how they have a Junior Hunt in the area? Any suggestions?

Thanks ARIZONAGUIDE! I guess I was hoping the areas a bit farther to the North were not quite as bad as those right on the border. Unfortunately, I suspect a guy just has to accept the fact that there is an added element of danger when hunting in the South and decide for himself if he wants to expose his children to it. Thanks again.
