The dad is an awesome chocolate, the mom is yellow, and you would think I would end up with some chocolate pups, but not this time. They are black and yellow. Could you post some pics of the parents? Thanks, Whitey Here is a photo of the parents Awesome pic! Thanks! My wife is the photographer ... I thought it was pretty cool too! -

It's in Humboldt. Actually they call us Dewey-Humboldt nowadays, South of Prescott Valley about 10 miles. The church is 2500 Old Black Canyon Highway... we'd love to have you visit!

I'm Pastor of Humboldt Bible Church. Nice little country church, but attendance suffers some during hunting seasons.

This topic has probably been discussed on here before at length, but if it has, I missed it. I ran in to a guy this weekend during a hunt who "matter of factly" told me about all the photos on a trail cam that did not belong to him. He evidently pulls and reads the cards of any cam he comes across and acts as though it is perfectly acceptable and standard operating procedure in the hunting community these days. I didn't press him on the matter, but I suppose he would justify his actions by stating that he didn't vandalize, or steal a camera... he just viewed the photos. That rational seems like "situational ethics" to me and flies in the face of my belief that you simply don't mess with another hunter's stuff. If that had been MY camera, I would have been all up in his face, the same way I would if I had caught him going through my tent or the the glove box in my truck. You just don't mess with another man's stuff! If it ain't yours ... leave it alone! Am I the only one with this opinion these days?

I've saved the money and have the green light. Now I just have to make the final decision on which wall tent to buy. Montana Canvas? Davis Tent? Yakima? AAA Tent? Western Wall Tents? Others? Any opinions, experience, or suggestions welcome. Thanks!

We're in the Dewey-Humboldt area and have 3 black males and 1 yellow female and 1 yellow male AKC lab pups that will be ready to go to a new home August 7th. They will have had dew claws removed, all shots, wellness checks, and AKC paperwork. Dad is a large blockhead chocolate, mom is nice medium size yellow. Both parents have great dispositions. We're asking $400.

In your opinion - who makes the best wall tent?

Would the 12x14 accomodate 3 big cots and a stove with ample room to get around without tripping over one another? -

Thanks for your input Schmitty! I've heard good things about Davis. -

Was your montana canvas "sunforger" or "treated"? I wasn't aware that the canvas shrunk that much. I may very well look into a synthetic or at least a blend. Thanks for your input! -

Cabelas Bighorn or Alaknak. Way easier to set up. Weighs WAY less. No big poles to deal with. Synthetic material will be more resistant to water and mold damage. Optional vestibules for storage, cooking, etc. Their stove sucks, but the tent is tops. I know what you are saying, and it makes sense. But I've spent a lot of years day-dreaming about a nostalgic canvas wall tent, not sure I can shake the obsession with logic.
