Gnats, Gnats, Gnats
thunderbolt replied to TATAat27's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
i've been looking at other forums and the same topic came up. A lot of guys are saying they use thermacell. Don't know anything about the stuff except i've seen it advertised on tv. -
GOOD LUCK to all who have elk tags. I envy you guys!!! The rut, the country, the cool fresh air, the family and friends to spend it with, hearing the bugling by the camp fire all night long, the rut, oh did i say the rut man i miss that stuff. I've had three archery cow tags and haven't tagged a thing. Tagging an elk would of just been the cherry on top. HAVE A SAFE TRIP AND GOD BLESS.

How long do you leave your cam's
thunderbolt replied to hunt4horns's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
i usually leave mine for months. I had a spot where i had two salt licks within 70 yds of eachother and both were getting nailed. one trailcam on each spot and one spot had nothing but does and the other had does and bucks. the one that had does never had any bucks in any pictures. only 70 yds apart and not any sign of a buck. go figure. -

A good friend of mine Billy G borrowed my trail cam last year and took some pictures of a nice buck up in the pine trees. He had several tries at the buck but never really showed himself. I think the buck might have winded him. I had to promise not to say a word about the area and i had to promise that once he took me to the area that i would leave the big guy for him. first time posting pics hope they work. some more pics last ones

I could see the cloud from safford today. It looked like a rain cloud. I even asked someone if there was rain in the forcast. That pic doesn't do it justice, that cloud was huge.

Now is the time to bring those memories back and make new ones before it is to late. To all those fathers, Happy fathers day!!!!!

its called deer buck jam. he had put it on a dead log and around it. i tried the buck jam in a completely different area but i didn't get this much attention from the deer. -
