That's how I feel. I started watching it on my phone because my wife and daughter were taking sooooo much smack about how many times I've watched it. Just can't get enough... -
Nice write up, nice buck. I know this guy didn't come easy. You and Justin put in a lot of work leading up to this hunt. Congrats Matt. It was my pleasure to help out on the two days we went out into the field.

This was an awesome experience to share with these agents. We bumped into them while on my hunt in 36b. We hiked back into the canyon with them and spent some time at this memorial. Thanks for all you guys do out there, and stay safe.

So, I am Joey's stepfather. Jimmy. This all started whent he results of the draw came out. I posted what hunt we got drawn for and Firstcoueswas80 responds with if you need help, I would like to come and help. (I've never met him, just on the forum. So we exchanged numbers and bs'd a few times on the phone. The week before the hunt firstcoueswas80 calls and says he's got a buddy JLB (Jim) that wants to come too. I said great. I've only been hunting these grey ghosts for a few years. Joey and I drew the famous 36b December tag. We've spent time shooting our rifles and scouting for this trip. Finally, Thursday came. We loaded the 30' Travel Trailer and headed south. Casey and Jim showed up right after we did. We set up camp then the storm rolled in. It rained until mid day Saturday. Stopped for a short time, then started raining agin. Woke up Sunday morning to guess what????? RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so we headed north on I-19 in search of sunlight. There was a small hill side off the freeway that had sun shining on it. "Let's head there!!!!!!!!!!". Get out of the truck, and right away see two white tail doe and a muley doe feeding. Not 30 seconds later Casey says what we've been waiting for since Augus, "I've got a buck". We all check it out, and decide, let's roll. Joey's been working at the YMCA since June, and his schedule wasn't cooperating, so we went after the buck. Joey hit him from 220yds, and broke his back, right away, the buck tried and tried to get up and couldn't. I told Joey, grab your stuff, that deer is suffering, and we need to get up on that hill NOW!. Joey beat me there and put one round in his heart from 30 yards. DEER DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!. It was a great experience for me to watch my sone get his first deer. And we couldn't of got it done withour Casey and Jim. I had no idea how to cape an animal. so Jim and Casey took care of it. Then to top it all off, Scott and Anita came down from Tucson after I called and told them Joey got his first deer. They picked up Joey, his caped deer and meat and headed back to Tucson so I could continue to hunt. THANK YOU SCOTT and ANITA. Stay tuned for the rest of the story I am still searching for my December buck. Thanks agian Casey, Jim, Scott and Anita.

Anyone else chomping at the bit for Friday????? 36B rifle tag. My 17yr old (his first coues hunt) and I are headed down Thursday morning to set up camp. It's been rough looking at all these pictures of these trophies taken since Oct. Knowing I had to wait for Dec 14. Good luck to all with rifle tags and the to those with stick and string.

Michigan tells Unions to back off
Jimmyc replied to DesertBull's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Any of these posts about political ish, should not be on here. Unless it pertains to hunting. All posts like this do is devide hunters. If u want to be in a union join one. If you're in one, GREAT. If u don't like unions ur entitled to your opinion. But I would bet, mosy of the folks spewing their bs here have never been a part of a union. Jimmy IBEW Local 570. Good luck to all going out this Friday. -
Thanks Shane. I'm still waiting for a pic to be sent my phone.........

Good luck to you guys, hope we all come back with good memories and meat in the freezer. Now, lets see who posts up the first December rifle tag story and pics.....

Southwest Shooting Authority "If you voted for Barack Obama, your business is not welcome
Jimmyc replied to cactusjack's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Exibit B Oops, forgot the attachment: http://online.wsj.com/public/page/executive-pay.html The big wigs of this company gave themselves BIG raises prior to filing brankuptcy and then blamed the unions for being broke. And if you read the whole story, the Teamsters Union did work with the company. so to say all unions are bad, and to say unions are bullying here is just not correct. PS not sure why or how this thread turned to unions after the original was about the gunstore up on the mountain. -

Just a couple things unions made possible that people take for granted, daily: 8 hour work days, 40 hour work weeks, weekends, child labor laws, OSHA, minimum wage and whole lot more all brought to you from UNIONS!!!!! So if you think unions are the enemy, you are wrong. That is living breathing proof unions don’t just fight for union members. Our entire country benefits from unions and has for hundreds of years. -
Nicely done.It will definitely be a tasty trophy. Now let's concentrate on 36b december 14th. hahahaha. Jk. Nice buck.
