$1200 located in Tempe area

These two are probably best called wall hangers. The action on one works but is very tight and hard to function. The other doesn't close due properly as the bolt doesn't go back far enough to clear the loading block. One is 38-40 and the other is 44-40. Both barrels have been cut off….bores are fair. The stocks are solid. Sights have been replaced. They are not high end collectibles but could be made into good shooters with some work and patience. $1500 for the pair. I have more photos I can post later, too. Located in south Tempe area.

When you have an addiction, it's not hard to find dope.

This is a nice old double barrel Hopkins and Allen 12 gauge. It was made in the late 1890's or early 1900's. It has 30" barrels. I think it is best suited to be a wall hanger but a couple guys have told me that they shoot theirs with low powered shells. I was told it has twist steel barrels which are similar to Damascus steel. It seems to operate fine but I've never fired it. Wood has handling marks but no cracks that I can see. Located in south Tempe area. $250

The El Tigre was a licensed copy of the Winchester model 1892 made from about 1915 through the mid 1930's. They are a very cool gun. This one has been used quite a bit and seems to work great but I've not fired it. Pretty cool little gun. Located in south Tempe area. $550

I have a rifle that is marked 30-06 but it has been rechambered to either 300 Win or 300 Weatherby. It will chamber a 300 Win round but I don't have a 300 Weatherby round to try in it. Would anyone be willing to loan me a round to see if it will chamber? I'm in south Tempe area. Thanks

The gunsmith suggested doing just as the video link from Midway in the earlier post except using paraffin wax. Have not tried it yet.

no

Actually, one of the gunsmith's I called told me to go ahead and fire a 300 Win in it. Another told me an easy way to do the chamber cast at home so I'll do that.
-
Im glad im not your BUDDY. L.O.L. Well, I would provide the ammo for him.
-
I was just going to see which would chamber and then loan it to my buddy to see how he did. I found a smith that will do the chamber cast for $60. Does that sound fair?

Thank heaven you're in Tucson so I don't have to think about this.
-
Maybe. I'll send you a pm

Or trade for a Leupold scope…...
-
I'll take it for $30 if you're down in the east valley.
-
Well, I would consider a trade for Vortex 15X Vipers. Or, cash.
-
Or, I guess I'd trade for Kaibabs, too.

Will trade for Swarovski 15x56 plus cash
