I have a buddy in Chandler that's reasonable. If you have a CCW its cheaper. Give Ken a call and tell him Eric sent you. http://www.kmarms.com/ -
As will I.

Frank, Come on down to crazy cyote row C sites 43,44,45 ask for Speedygoss (Eric). I'll have plenty of generators. Well drink a few beers while you charge up your phones. 👍

I have a stash of empty soup cans in my camper and gasoline for my generator. I fill an empty soup can up to the brim with gasoline then place filled soup can in the middle of the fire pit. I then stack wood around the can in a tee pee style. Light the gasoline and it will burn for about 30 minutes like a soft hot tourch. Plenty of time to get the wood burning no matter what the size. Every person who has ever witnessed me use this method has called me crazy and stands way back untill they see it work. (Huh Big Browns and Huntjunkie Then they swear they will never start a fire any other way. 👍 P.S. Don't be a dick. Dispose of the can properly before you leave.

Obviously putting the bullet on target consistently is the main goal. Out past 400 allot of external ballistics start coming into play that you need to understand and know how to deal with to keep that bullet on target. An accurate rifle with the correct calculated shooting solution will be on target so long as you do your part behind it. Once you have learned and can repeat the external ballistics understanding terminal ballistics is next. IMO Caliber choice plays a big role in both of these. I tend to look at a few things. A consistently accurate load with the heaviest hunting construction bullet the rifle will accept. Plenty of K/E at the max range I intend to use the rifle on game. ( this part will help you decide on a caliber) The .270 Win. Though capable wouldn't be my first choice. In .30 Cal. Personally I'd choose the .300 Win.Mag over the .300 RUM. ( with the same projectile choices I don't believe the extra recoil and powder spent is worth the extra FPS.) Don't get me wrong I shoot and love my hard hitting and recoiling .338 RUM but in a .30 cal. My choice would be the .300 WM. This video clip is a great for anyone choosing a cartridge.

Shooter (Ballistic Calculator) for Iphone users.

Is anyone using this calculator app for their I phone? I cant seem to find it at the app store? Thanks, -
Just curiouse how common it is for others to set up a target and check zero before or during a hunt at camp assuming its safe of course. This has become a common practice for me for a couple of reasons. 1.) one of my rifles in perticular likes a fouled bore and 2.) I use a ballistic calculator and dial MOA on a regular basis. At this time I set my basic parameters and prove them for probable shooting solutions.

Another +1 for Double H. With the ICE soles they wear like iron!
-
Great! Sounds like he has both scenarios covered. Either way is fine by me.

Will it be engraved on a flat surface or one with contours? Like the side of the barrel / action. Basically what kind of firearm and where?
-
What kind of engraving are you looking for? Hand? CNC? Depending on what type and location on the firearm I might be able to help.

Another prime example of just how great CWT forum really is.

Sometimes I find myself taking for granted how civil and amazing the CWT family really is. From the moderators all the way down to the new members each day. Lets not forget what we really have here and remember to thank all the people who do such a good job for us. http://www.rutnhard.net/forum/elk-pics-trail-pics-videos/7555-13-year-olds-420-a.html -

You do NOT have to have any service to run this app. If you do have service it can pull weather info from local stations and calculate from that but everything can be entered manually with no service.
