No worries, I am not affiliated with this place at all other than I have found it great place to purchase from in every aspect. I am a huge fan of the vendors here especially the creative ones that have developed such things as the "Range Snap" and the "Pro Gear Swaro Covers" both of which I own and bought off this site. Saying I buy a lot of hunting equipent every year would probably be an understatement therefore I enjoy seeking great deals and sharing them. A little disappointed to learn this is frowned upon here at CWT thats all.
-
Ok so help me and anyone else who might make the same mistake I just did here. Your frowned upon on CWT for posting a link to a site someone might get a better price on something if its not a vendor? Is it strictly hunting related merchendise? What about a good deal on something found on EBay someone might be looking for here? Not trying cause waves here Just trying to understand the unwritten rules on CWT. Link removed.

Not to hijack the thread but lots of people have had problems with the Pronghorns wearing out and stiching comming apart. I bought a pair two years ago and have not had that problem. They are plenty light and give good support (I'm 5'10~180) and they broke in the first 100 feet I wore them. Post 9 has pictures of my under armor hunting boots. Paid $179 for them and this is what they looked like after 5 days hunting the Superstitions. Absolute junk! http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/28208-under-armour-hunting-boots-reviews/ I now use Danner Desert TFX® Rough-Out GTX® Military Boots for unisulated desert hunting. http://www.danner.com/boots/desert-tfxr-rough-out-gtxr-military-boots.html

Disappointing Load Results 7mm-08
AxisWorks LLC replied to rossislider's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I ran across a problem with my .300 WSM where the rifle liked the bullets @ .005 off the lands. Problem was the only bullet I could get to do this and feed into the magazine was Nosler Partition Protecter Points. You might try these, the bullet geometry pushes the ojive further forward alowing you to get it to the lands with a shorter COL and allowing it to feed into the mag. Just a suggestion. Speedy. -

I also used the 2200 for years and ran across the same problem you have adding 15's tripod and spotting scope. I chose the Badlands OX. I have been really happy with it so far. Tripod and spotter go in the long side pockets and 15's fit perfectly in the pocket at the very top. Also I always have a frame pack with me and it carries the weight really well. Gear in and game out. My opinion is it offers allot in one package. Speedy. -
Reganranch, How long has it been since you have been shooting out at Usary? I agree there was a time when the old grouchy range officers were pricks but they have let allot of those guys go and really changed their attitudes out there. I also meet a guy on a dove hunt one time that was on their board of directors. As we were talking about this very subject and I mentioned It seemed like things were differant out there he informed me that the change was a conscious effort for the range. I'm just saying give it a try again you might be suprised. Speedy.

However it needs some differant shoes the ones on it are a little to dry rotted to let her be tooling around town on. If anyone has a decent used set lying around let me know. Thanks, Speedy. -
