Son looking for work.. Hard worker and motivated
Swivelhead replied to Adicted's topic in The Campfire
LU 640 - Serve an apprenticeship - Focus on instrument & controls. Serve him well for life. Good clean work that an older person can perform, Nobody stays young forever. -
Surely you flatter yourselves.

3rd year of NCAA cloud, NIL incompetence, transfer portal, new coach, etc. I'd say Devils did OK. That being said, congrats to the Cats. Had a good season and should get a decent bowl game. Hope they win it.

It follows that Aspen Lodge advocates for feral horses on public lands. Admit it and move on.

Not A3 but AZG&F has flown 5BN prior to the early archery elk hunt (usually the Tuesday prior to the opener) every year I've been there. Looks like a 180 Cessna, a tail dragger. Easy to tell where they find elk as there is usually some high performance/low altitude flying. Not sure why the do it but they do.

The principals of Aspen Lodge (you) have taken a stance on an issue that is very important to outdoorsmen. We will vote with our money and do our best to make fellow outdoorsmen aware of Aspen Lodge's stance concerning feral animals on public land. ^^^^ this

Released for sale today, anybody know if this unit is all they say it is? Thinking about taking the plunge.

Friends of mine lost their dogs while camping on the north side of Escudilla in unit 1. They are camped on the 275 road at Mud Springs. Dogs bolted from camp 9:00 am today, Sunday the 13th. Camp is still being manned by friends and the owners are currently searching for the dogs as I type this. No luck yet. Ruby is a 5+ year old golden retriever and Laney is a 13 month old Aussie doodle. Dogs have collars with owners phone number. Contact me with any info

I appreciate a cranky RSO, too many idiots at public ranges. If an butt chewing is earned, take it don't whine.

Good point. No need for this thread to go any further.

Looks like a near perfect mushroom to me. 30-30 has successfully taken large game for a 100 years.

In the 60's, Circle K's on the outskirts of town would have cases of shotshells stacked chest high in the aisles prior to dove season. Dove season was an EVENT in those days.

Sell BX-5's (10x + 15x) to buy one better set?
Swivelhead replied to cannonball's topic in Optics and tripods
8 X 42 is a great choice for hand held glass. 10 X 42 is better for all around glass. Each are surprisingly effective when used with a tripod. -
Lots of tears shed.

Lucky to be alive. Many perils for domestic pets in the wild. Did not think they'd last a single night much less four nights. A lot of people put in time trying to find these pets, in the end they self rescued.

Dogs found! I have no details but pups showed up in Alpine. Owners ecstatic and on their way to reunite.

Dogs still missing, hope is waning.

Camp that the dogs bolted from remains and is occupied by others.
-
Owners had drone pilots fly the area yesterday. Not looking good.

Taste tested skip jack against yellowfin. Preferred skip jack.

No luck finding Ruby & Laney today.
