For ducks or fishing?

We choose which hunt/unit/species to put in for, know the amount of permits issued before hand and we still get mad. I still think Google Earth created this problem.

You can still get a shoulder mount. You can wait as long as you want. They do some really neat Euro mounts now these days also. Guess it depends if you wanna spend the money on shoulder mount right away or look into some of the Euro's. Just don't lose the tag.

I think we should blame Google Earth.

Could you imagine if the bull would have let out a nice big bugle.... Probably would have seen his hair moving.

I have a rifle hunt in unit 23. Just make sure when you glass your target up and shoot you keep a close eye and don't rush things. Tough to shoot and keep track of your target sometimes.

Thank goodness it wasn't a bat or one of the flycatcher species.

I would put my game cam there if I knew there wasn't gonna be swingin tenderloins flashing around on it.

I saw a muley buck mount a doe 2 weeks ago. Saw some whitetail acting interested in some does and pushing off smaller bucks. Have seen bucks all by themselves and also lots of does by them selves. Its been pretty confusing to me.

Man the shovelers were thick last year. This year has been really slow. With the water dropping it isnt helpin much

Here is the deer my brother harvested during the Oct. hunt.

We were very lucky to get back on that deer again.

We spooked him out of a canyon 3 days into the hunt and decided to give him a couple days to settle down. After 2 days we went back in with a different approach and glassed him up first thing in the morning. We scored him at 105 5/8 gross and around 101 3/8 net.

Oh man, that looks like some good eatin there.

I was at a Easter get together and a bobcat attacked one of the kids and I killed it with my pocket knife. Scrappy little boogers.
