I'm looking for an appraiser or someone who might know if this is worth anything.I have Dale and Theresa Earnhardts used bear tags from the white mountain apache indian reservation.Any imput would be helpful.Thanks.The picture between the tags is my wife showing the tags to Dale jr at the sportsman warehouse.

Thanks Stanley, I looked online and found some appraisers that do sports memorabilia.I will give them a try.I'm not looking to sell right now just want to know if it is worth anything and if I should insure it.

They were shot in 1992 and taken to the taxidermist.Thats wear the tags were removed.They don't have to stay on the animal forever.

I agree that the spread should not count.I was told years ago they used to include the spread on antelope.They finally gave it up.

Geo tracker was my choice Has a heater ,ac, will do 70mph on the hiway and I don't have to pay for a off road permit.Only paid $3500 for it.

average joe is right there are some giants in 2a 2b and 2c.Not a lot off deer but some good ones.Lots of locked gaits in some areas.

Coach,try the cal ranch store in show low.They usually have them on Monday mornings for less than 30 dollars for a brick of 500.

Just remember if it is on public land anyone can hunt there.If you build a drinker you cant claim that spot as your own.

I've hunted 27 for 20 + years.Finding elk in 27 isn't that hard.The best time to scout is a week before your hunt.If you don't Know the unit you might want to spend some time learning the area .Be prepared to be boogerd by other hunters.Every year it gets worse.Get in the best shape you can so you can get away from other hunters.Be prepared to bone out and pack your elk out.

The trapping season in my opinion starts to early.I start taking fur bearers around thanksgiving.A lot depends on the weather and the elevation.

Cats and fox are good till the end of trapping season.Coyotes are a different story.They usually turn bad by the 2nd week in feb.

My son has shot plenty of coyotes inside 100 yrds with no problem with his 17hmr.You can get a bad hit with any cal. and have them run off.

It's against the law to shoot them here in Arizona.Just thought I would let the members here know that.

It doesn't matter what you use.Just hit them where your suppose to.

The 17 ackly is a 222mag necked down to 17 cal.I was shooting a 25 gr bullit at 4100 fps.

It sounds like the 17 hornet is just the ticket for the type of hunting you're doing.I have a 17WSM that I'm hoping to get similar results with.I had a 17 ackly but it just did to much damage to everything I shot with it.

dealing with game and fish and getting a license is the easy part .Dealing with the forest service is the hard part.Good luck with them.
