That was pretty cool.

......and I watched the game on TV. Look at the reply, he was hit in the foot by a USC player. If a call was made you would be cheering. If the offense had converted, he wouldn't have had to make 5 field goal attempts. Any coach would rather have 7 than 3. What's BS is that the Cats defensive didn't show up until the 4th quarter and Solomon over threw multiple receivers. Kickers get all the blame, but last I checked there are 11 guys on the field. It is easy to blame one player, but that is just a cop out. Haha your boy missed it so bad he knew he had to make something up! That defensive player was no where near him when he actually kicked the ball and he knew how bad he shanked that kick right from the start. I am a huge cats fan and you can read my previous post on this thread about my thoughts on how young the team is and how I think they will do great when they grow and mature but take it easy dude, your boy blew it last night. I completely agree with the coment said that he has one job to do and he didn't do it. Now he knows that and we all know that, what he needs to do is pick his head up and go do his job next week. He will recover, he doesn't need your pampering.

Dang, nice buck! Congrats on that bad boy!

Last light Anu Soloman really showed how new of a QB he really is. Too many miss thrown passes in key situation and that two point conversion play where he handed it off to the back should have never happened. He should have kept that ball and looked for a receiver or even walked it into the end zone himself. USC was lined up to stuff the middle and if Anu would have held on to that ball for an extra second he would have seen that he could have skirted around and scored himself. The cats have a young team and Anu is a great QB non the less, just needs some time to grow, he's going to do great things at UA.

Let's see some pictures!

You killed this deer?

Man that poor little guy, makes you feel bad when you see 'em all messed up like that. He even looks miserable. But nice little honey hole you got there, lots of bucks.

For the Swarovski stud and the tripod adapter it was $76.98. I ordered online though because I couldn't go to the store in Phoenix because I'm not from Phoenix, so it was a little more for shipping and for some reason a $6.39 in-state charge. I don't get this and I have been meaning to call them and ask but I keep forgetting about it.

The first one was a little easy but your second one got me stumped.

I just bought a stud and adapter from them last week, they do have the adapters on sale like 120carp said, it's a pretty good deal.

Transplanted to Arizona...Introduction if you will
az_shooter replied to BigWaveDave's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I can't hunt Ft. Huachuca but I have lived, worked and hunted in the surrounding areas my whole life. So pm me with any questions you have and I'll do my best to answer them. -
That's good to hear somebody is finding deer they are pleased with. That's a good unit, lived my whole life around that unit. Good luck on the 24th.

That has got to be one of the easiest solutions to getting good pictures from your spotter or binos and just last night I was looking online at expensive pieces to do this for me. You the man! I'm going to the hardware store tomorrow with binos in hand to make my own now. Thanks.

That is pretty cool, those tricky moose always get ya when you're least ready for them! Haha! Congrats to you and good luck to your dad.

It's the government, warning labels don't apply...

Just what I was going to say. The whole direct contact thing is BS. I can assure he didn't go there and start hugging everyone and crying with them. Doubt he never even went inside. Explain that! Read above comment, it's explained. And here is a link to something that has a little more credibility than just me telling you. http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/hospital-signs-ebola-dallas-area-officer-26078313

That's a big negative buddy, the Dallas area Sherriffs officer who entered the apartment is not showing any signs of Ebola. This was updated two hours ago. Also the dude who died from Ebola in Dallas, even his family members who touched and hugged and spent a lot of time with him before he died aren't showing any sign of Ebola. Just to put some fact into your statement.

Spot and stalk, tree stand or blind?
az_shooter replied to Dustin F's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I've thought about this before a few times. I have never sat in a blind or up in a stand before so I cannot speak about that part, but I can speak on the spot and stalk method. To me, that is what makes hunting so much fun. Yeah you're gonna blow a lot of stalks, yeah you're gonna miss some shots due to tree branches or tall grass, but that's just how it goes. Lucky for us that every time we miss a shot or blow a stalk all it means is that we get the pleasure of going hunting again the next day! I think blinds and tree stands were made for the hunters who could no longer spot and stalk due to age or mobility issues, and it's my personal opinion that using them just turns it from hunting to killing, not much fun in that. Now having said that and knowing somebody is going to argue it, I will say that sitting in a blind or tree stand will probably give you better shot opportunities, but I am also pretty sure that spot and stalk hunters will see at least twice as much animals as those in the blinds. I mean what would you rather do, watch a movie and read a book in a blind, or glass up deer all day and chase them around? Whatever your hunt method is this year just remember to have fun and enjoy what you're doing, good luck to every one this fall. -
No, when they say direct contact they mean direct contact. If someone sneezes on you or you come in contact with someone else's blood, urine, saliva ect. That is direct contact. You are not going to catch Ebola because someone with Ebola sneezed on a dollar and then gave it to a clerk who then gave it to you as change. That is not direct contact. You have to literally let them spit or bleed into your mouth, eyes, open cuts or sores ect., to catch Ebola. It is a very nasty thing but its much much worse over in Africa because they are not as clean or keep up on hygiene as we do. Sounds messed up but it is what it is. They live in filth and when things like Ebola pop up they pay for it the most.

They are Motorola radios but they aren't bad at all, another time we used them that stands out is when we hiked way back into this canyon and decided to go out the other side so my friend went back to move the truck around and he was all the way at the mouth of the canyon at the truck and I was towards the back of the canyon and he called and was still able to ask me if I wanted a Gatorade from the cooler when he came back. They are actually my buddies radios and I don't know the exact model but I know for a fact they are Motorola brand.

I want it, how much are you asking, I am in the market and will buy this one if no one else has got to it first.

Make sure you get the ones that will vibrate with a certain button, it comes in really handy when your buddy is sitting on a high point and he's walking you into a buck on an archery hunt and he wants to get my attention without making noise on the radio to tell me the deer is 50 yards walking right at me. Little story for ya there, I never got a clear shot at the buck but when he left his bed and started walking towards me it was so thick I couldn't even see him. So I knew when my radio vibrated it was important and I was able to talk/whisper with my buddy who was up on the hill watching through the glasses and he was able to tell me to stop moving in on the buck cause he had started moving towards me. Anyways great feature to have, sorry for the rambling. Haha

Oh yeah, that's a little too far north for myself, I'm way down south by the border, good luck on your sale, sorry I couldn't help.

Isn't that over by Nogales?
