You guys crack me up. This is the best way to locate bulls that are talking on a year line this year where the rut wasn't really cranking. Great way also to hunt a unit you don't know well. I have done this plenty of times when needed and I assure you I have killed more big bulls than most the guys on here bashing it.

Last couple weeks i have made a couple trips over to find some sheep. First trip we only saw a couple young lambs. But second trip we finally found them. We saw about 40 total, in 3 different groups. They are not the biggest but we were happy just to find them. One is 15'' and one is 20"

We ate backstraps off mine last night and it was good. My wife even liked it which is a surprise. I marinated it got two days snd it was only like a 3 year old ram. I hear they normally aren't to good.

Thanks. It was a blast. We didn't find them till we got away from the easy access areas and hiked in a couple miles. Not best time of year to shoot them as their hair and chaps aren't as good as winter but beats sittin at home

I forgot I have a trophy ridge micro cypher 5 sight that is dipped to match as well. Will throw that in for $50. I'm sure this may not be the best deal out there but I got over a grand invested so I'm not in a huge rush to even sell it. But it's a sweet bow.

I think it depends on the year. That hunt is a tough hunt I don't care who you are. I don't think I would have put it as only choice with 8 points but that's me. Good luck. Hope he shoots a bull.

Not tricky at all. Just call them to get the hunt numbers and apply. We have drawn a few tags in there.

I have a diamond ring that I would like to sell or trade for hunting stuff. It is a 2 part ring. Engagement ring and wedding band that slide together. Total of like 1.6 carrots. Yep ^. Pretty basic knowledge that unit 9 is not the "great unit" during the late hunt. I always laugh when guys get exited that they drew a 9 late bull tag. IMO 9 ,23 might be the top 2 units. Unit 10 is just getting worse I think but still big bulls there.

Walmart has the tasco for $50. Only problem is you can't set picture per minute so you end up with LOTS of pictures. But you get 4 for the $200 instead of 1. Don't hurt as much when they get stolen either.

Your right. I think some of the mid tier units have more res than non res in max point pool so that leaves non res tags to draw in 1-2 pass since cap wasn't met.

Wapiti. Not with non residents ^. Most hunts for non residents the cap is met in the bonus point round. So I'm trying to figure out how this could happen. Livetohunt. I agree with your example for residents. Just not non res.
