This has worked for me and my wife with a family ranch by our house. We have asked two times to hunt there land and havebeen told no. We said ok understand and never asked any more but they have asked if we would hut bear and lion up there.

What I would dod is go down and scout and just talk to some ranchers let them know what you are trying to do (gain a place to hunt) and ask them if you can hunt on there land a lot of times they don't mind peopele on there land they just want to know who is on the land. If they say no tell them you understand but everytime you are down there stop by there house

All are right. My wife picked up this left over last year we found deer every day doe/bucks it was like 16 deer in 4 days. Good luck

I aske the same question a while back. Then I just thought to myself and picked the one I knew I could trust and for me it was a vx3 4.5-14 I know a lot of people say vortex is a good scope in the price range bot I read some reviews that didn't make me happy. I have a vxi vxii and vxiii all work great and keep on target year after year. I would go for the leupold

Thanks it has worked good for me to. Here is the brake down call $199 sound cards $45-$60 each. Now there is a place where the horn broke off the base i fixed it and don't hurt the sound.The scope I took on trade thinking I would use it and I just don't so time to get rid of it

Do you live in az if so are you planning on scouting? I never hunted it for deer but grew up in willcox and hunted small game out there feel free to pm me if you would like to get together and I can show you some areas I had my uncle go and they found good bucks

I would bring the .270 & 300 win mag just in case something where to happen with the first gun or if the shots end up longer then you first thought. I always take two guns when home is not base camp

Has anyone used Speer trophy bonded bear claw or grand slam bullets for a 7mm rem mag. If so how did they work on game & what set up did you use (bullet,powder,&primer) thanks for the info

Thanks I ended finding some hornandy 139 gr for my 7 mm and just got some sst130 gr from a member on this site. For some reason my gut was saying to stay away from them
