I will be using one my remington 700's I have either a 7mm mag with 139 gr sst topped with a zx iii 4.5-14 or my favorite 25/06 with 117 gr sst with vx iii 4.5-14 might even carry my good ol 270 with 130 gr sst with vx ii 3-9. I really hate these hard decisions. But glad that I get to make it. -
The foot hills before happy Valley hold some mule deer east side of road just after rr tracks

I to use to use these but the pockets are not that deep. I found some green dickies cargo paints at a used store, that are rip stop and they are awesome and, whatever shirt is clean

I was kind of nervous about letting her try out my .308 after she shot my 20 gauge a few months ago & thought it kicked too much, but I think I'll let her pump a couple rounds through it & see what she thinks. Only one way to find out for sure. Besides, the more I think about it, she'll be out growing a youth rifle in a year or two anyway. Somebody might as well use the one that is already in the closet, since it seems like I'm not going to. this is how I was started dad had an old model 94 30-30 open sights. We used what he didn't use or what was given to him. Then on my 16th birthday I got a .270 now my boy will use the same thing what I have lying around

I haven't used the 50 mm but use the 4.5-14×40 and I think it is good for shots to 700 yard's. If the deer is a good one you will have no problem with that scope. If he is little you might. I would say don't waste the money. But if it is what you want then get it

Hey I must say sorry I thought it said 7mm was a long day sorry
-
How many are you looking for? And what head stamp
-
I don't think it is that bad but I always carry a side arm when I go out. If you would like pm me for help. My wife has the October hunt there.

I am putting this up for my dad he bought it new for my brother, my brother is not a hunter and we found out he had a mental health problems. So it is going up for sale. It is a ruger m 77 LH Mark II in 270 Cal. With a older redfield scope on it the gun has about 50 rounds through it. The gun is 90%-95%. I will post pictures of it tomorrow sometime when I get it at my house. He would like $625 feel free to offer trades I will run them by him.
