I use imr 4831 with 95 gr bullets and it works great -
Moose is on my bucket list I always thought I would have to go to Alaska but after the read it seems closer beautiful animal

I would have to go with a remington 700 cdl in 270 with a leupold vx3 4.5-14×40. If I had another it would be the same set up just in 25/06. But a 270 imo is great gun for med size game up large game. It is a good all around cal. -
I dont hunt mule deer as my first option but the ones I posted pictures of would make me change my mind if someone doesn't kill the big one. I have tried to help people get on them but they seem to know more then i do but i see them and they do. But i have talked to bluedevil99 seem to really want the information. it was the week before it opened.

From what I was told the big one finished nice. I helped a guy get on some last year. If you want the same info I gave him pm me but I don't know for sure if they are in the Same area but will know more aferocious my kids wt hunt in a few weeks

Very good I like the 243 I got one last January and love it then to finish it off with a Boyds stock is just right on the money. I put the pepper color stock on mine good luck -

I have seen a few deer get lost after a bad hit from a 7 mm & 300 Wm because the people using them didn't practice with there gun. I would say a 243 is ok out 300 yards. Creed if you would like I have a 243 wssm and a 243 win if you would like to try them out let me know I believe you work with one of my friends. So getting them to you is not a problem -
