I started my daughter with a 25/06 but if I had to do 8t over it would be 243 just because it is offered in a youth model

They are spf I know some times they are worth better money to a collector but i have looked and came up empty

I would keep your shots at a max of 500 with a 243 I hand load 95 gr sst
