Grave digger did grate for me 65 lb.bow 55 yds went completely through both shoulder blades and 10 more yds farther the shot was forward but one of the expandable blades cut a inch into the heart. Blead every where and piled up 100 yds away with a great blood trail. Thank u ross out doors and nate for recommending them.

I started out my new years morning with missing a nice wide 3x3. I was pretty disapointed after all the practice i do. I just cant practice buck fever LOL. After that my wife and I regrouped and headed to a spot we know holds some javi's. We parked on a hill above the meadow and had a snack, then we headed out to the ridge above the meadow about 3/4 of a mile away. We got there and glassed the medow and turned up with nothing, my wife then suggested we head down towards the meadow. I disagreed cause i was ready to go roast some hotdogs LOL. She headed down there so i followed. When we got down there, she suggested we climb on this boulder and take 5 from a higher vantage point. I stayed on the ground. She said she heard some pigs. I heard something but wasn't sure what it was so i climbed up there with her. Then we heard them again and again, they were getting closer, we got down and started towards them. As we were heading towards them, on our way she spotted them 200 yds beside us heading out to the meadow. We wanted to circle behind them but the wind wasnt right,we beat them to the meadow. They came out 150yds down from us after a 45min. 100yd stalk i was in range, i drew my bow and stepped out from behind the bush and let one fly. The rage did the job, the pig only went about 10 yds before piling up. Im so blessed newyears day kill again. and even more blessed to share it with someone i love and cherish so much, if it wasnt for my wife christies optimism and determination i would'nt have got it done on this one. Thanks again to my wife for all the help. and to coueswhitetail.com for giving us this special place to share our stories. Good luck to everyone in 2012 and God bless

I know i sport there sticker on my suburban with pride. Ordered a hunt map from them and it got lost by my post office. One of there employ's i dont recall his name offered to drive a copy of the map to me so i could have it before my hunt. I live about a hour west of them in tonopha so it isnt just around the block. It seems hard these days to find good service and people who accualy care about your buisness on a personal level. Thank u very much ross out doors. My post office ended up finding out where my package was so there was no need to deliver it but just the thought and offer meant so much to me.
