Im looking for a good pair of used Swaros 10x50. Either can be the older SLC or newer EL. I would also consider the 12x50 EL's. Let me know. Ive gone back pretty far on the classifieds and all I see are a few 10x42's and 15's.Thanks. Matt

Well, I dont want to get ahead of myself but my card posted last Wed. and some how I missed it. I put in for one hunt......33 late WT. Now I am freaking out that I completed my app wrong!!

I was at this shoot, and for those wondering, if the rabbit was eatable, it was ate......we were shooting small calibers to help the cause. Outside of that, the whistle pigs tasted fantastic with BBQ sauce.

Thats a good point. First, I have the exact same bow. Its a burner and its quiet. I wouldnt shoot anything else right now. Secondly, Bear has some of the best customer service I have have ever experienced. I had some older bear bows and called for some new limbs. Without even questioning me about why I needed new limbs for an old bow they sent them along with the cam for my draw at no charge. Incredible. The customer service is why I bought an Attack and I love the bow. Its worth calling them and letting them know you made an honest mistake. You may be surprised with what they do. Good Luck.

let me know if it falls through

That is an absolute stud of a shed. I know where this was found, and yes it is Willow Springs across from Oracle. My buddy, who posted this, and I have been hunting this area for 20+ years and I have never seen a whitetail anywhere near where this was found. I have seen them in 37b further north but never down south. I have read several forums, most on here, about people claiming to see them out in the flats of Willow Springs but to be honest, most of the time I discounted it......I guess this is the proof. Incredible shed, and to think its been sitting it a snake cage for a year is hillarious!

Jimmy, it looks like you ear holed him! Nice job man. Lets try and get out this weekend.

Intentionally rude or just ignorant?
mklong40 replied to DryHeat's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Normally I do not post on "heated" topics like this but I cant help myself. We live in the DESERT! Water holes are commodities. Archery deer, archery javelina, ducks, quail.....all seasons going on right now. With all the people out, then add the dirt bikers, it is almost ignorant in itself to think you will have any type of tank uninterupted. I had a unit 9 elk tag this year. My hunt was blown numerous times daily with traffic sitting tanks.....after we had respectable signs up letting everyone know we were there. I was on a tank last night archery hunting in the middle of no where and at 5:30pm, prime time, two girls came up to the tank on quads yelling for "coco" their lost dog......id been in the blind since 2. What am I going to do?.....not post their LP number! I believe in respect. I practice it all the time. But to post someones LP number on here over a few blown ducks....terrible. Be glad they waved when they drove by. -
....he sees you !!

I liked Leach a little better due to the West Coast recruiting ties, as well as the Texas area but Rich Rod's not bad. Look, MI is winning right now with Rich's recruits. Bring in a new D-cord and I think we will be good. Plus, with Scott coming off red shirt for his Sr. yr, he has the mobility to run the wildcat offense. I just hope Rich doesnt put together a few winning seasons, clean his name up after the crap at MI, and bounce to a bigger profile Football program. I could see that real quick.

There is also a legitimate debate as to whether or not problem is really with the gun. I have read that ammo makers have trouble with tolerances, and that might be source of the problem. All the ammo makers now say don't use their ammo in semi-auto guns, and it is because of that Remington is offering a recall. In that case, Remington is really just being nice offering you anything at all. just a thought You are right on. There is a reason you are not seeing any 17HMR semi auto's put out there anymore....ammo issue not a Rem issue. I have a friend turn a .22 semi auto into a 17mach 2 semi and its a shooter and much safer....

Tikka T3 lite 7mm 168 or 180 VLD's
mklong40 replied to Couzer's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I cant speak to Bergers But I have several loads I use for a Rem. 7mm. I have tried numerous powders and without question Reloader 22 gives me the best result. I use Federal 215m Primer. Remington Brass OAL 2.771" Coues Load: 62.5g RL -22 150gr Nosler Partition ( I used to shoot a ballistic tip with good performance, terrible penetration) 3095 Avg. Velocity - Chrono set 6ft from muzzle Standard Deviation - 12 FPS .498" 3 shot groups - I have repeated this within a hair for 3 years with the same rifle Elk Load: 63.8g RL -22 175gr Nosler Partition 2895 FPS Standard Deviation 6 FPS .840" 3 shot group I am shooting a Remingon 700 CDL. With the help of a long time BR shooter, I tried dozens of powder and bullet combos. This rifle (and they are all different) shoots dimes with this load. I have full customer rifles with Lilja barrels, Krieger barrels, etc. and for some reason this load shoots great out of a stock remmy. I know you had specifics to your question and this is not exactly that. However, this may give you a starting point and work from there. Matt -
I dont know the "right" answer but I have had reloads for 3 years plus. I have taken them out and they are still shooting just as accurate as the day I loaded them. I am sure the shelf life has to do with how you actually store them......out of any constant heat, no moisture, obvious things like that.
