Anyone shooting the 6.5 PRC
ctracingraptor replied to no worries's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Some people don’t want a belted magnum. But It’s designed off a solid case, article I read said near Weatherby mag performance. It sounds interesting. The win mag is a solid round, and has a strong foothold on the market, the prc could shake it up. -

but what about the 300 PRC, with those new A-tips?.. -
I love the look of those kimbers, but they are so hit or miss. People have had issues with them for years now. I’m glad I opted for a Christensen, because I love it.

Nosler Long Range Accubond for hunting???
ctracingraptor replied to lionhunter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I run the NABs, shoots lights out. Does what I need it to do. I’ve heard too many issues with the NABLRs. I personally would look elsewhere for a long range hunting bullet. Berger Elite Hunter? -

I’m pretty sure he meant 8.5lbs, because that’s what mines weighs with a roughly identical setup, vx6 with rings and bases is roughly 30oz awesome looking rifle though, just didn’t think that stock would be that much heavier -

Nosler 48 NCH Handgun
ctracingraptor replied to Buff-it Ranch's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I totally agree, but that is such a narrow niche market. Just trying to wrap my head around how someone decides to go that route. I like the gun, it’s very cool. -

I might be dumb and just don’t understand, but what’s the point? At that price and that weight, a sbr AR is lighter and available in most those calibers. -
About 8 years ago they tried to seize my uncles trailer, they were convinced it was a store bought trailer. We had to strip the entire chassis to metal so they could inspect it for numbers. It might have just been the inspector, but yes they tried to seize it, and it didn’t go well. Long story short, he eventually got a title
-
I believe it will require a class 3 inspection at the dmv. They would like to see receipts of your “build” hopefully it looks like a home build trailer. Otherwise, depending on the inspector they will try to take it.
