KYB vs. Bilstein vs. Rancho
ctracingraptor replied to My Rights As An American's topic in The Campfire
Either the bilsteins or the rancho will work for whatever you will need on a stock vehicle. I personally went with rancho on my WJ, only because i saved a bunch. Your not going to get a significant performance upgrade at those prices, unless you step up to remote reservoir setup. But since you stated you are just a weekend warrior either will work. Just so you know october is know as SHOCKTOBER!!!! at orielly auto parts, buy 3 rancho shocks get a 4th free. Might want to look into it and see how much you can save... And no, your coil springs will be just fine.. -

Rifle stock website...
ctracingraptor replied to ctracingraptor's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Thank you, it was redhawk rifles! -
I remember reading a post, possibly not in this section. But someone has a custom stock on their rifle. Of course i didn't save the website. I remember they sold a lot of stocks, with i believe would be their own spin and custom graphics on them. It wasn't from the major guys website, like boyds, houge, mcmillian, or hs precision. It would have been a 3rd party vendor, i remember seeing what appeared to be custom graphics on hs precision stocks, but i could be very wrong lol. I think they might have even been local? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a auto tech, pulling the dash is no big thing. It can be overwhelming if youve never done it before, i guess. But its really easy, plus you wont really have to remove the entire dash to replace your actuators, more like unbolt it and lay it on the seat. I can provide you with the "how to" steps if you want to DIY.

Its not stockys, they are more of a retailer. This website was more of a custom design -

You can apply for you 2015 spring hunts with your 2014 license without a problem. But yes, if you do get drawn for the 2015 hunts, you will need to buy a license before your hunt begins. When you buy a 2015 license online you are able to pick the date that you wish for the license to become active. Pretty much everyone is off sequence i believe because they purchased their 2014 license for either the elk, deer or pronghorn draw. If you buy a 2015 license for when your 2015 hunt begins, you will be back on sequence and never have to worry about it again. Or just buy a Pioneer license and get it over with lol, its way easier that way.

But i do agree, find something you love, and you'll never work a day in your life. If i could do it all over, i would pick forestry or maybe a game warden...but i do still love my job lol

Air conditioning is a good career that can make great money. You just have to be smart to manage your money for the slower months and be willing to work tons of hours during the summer. Good commercial techs can make very good money and good refrigeration techs can make better money. Residential A/C is a tougher game. Many of the companies want you to upsell or flat out swindle people to insentivise the money you make. I agree, you need to stay out of residential, my buddy does only industrial refrigeration, service, repair or install. He only does residential when a friend is in need, otherwise doing residential isnt worth his time. By all this a/c work, im talking about a technician, not a installer or a duct worker, those are terrible career choices.

A/C master techs are always in high demand, should be easy for you since your always on a roof anyways. Automotive masters techs, like myself, there is always work

I currently use my sendero is 7mm with 168vld, my friend loves my rifle. He currently in the market for a new LR rifle out to 1000 yards, without going crazy off topic he wants to stick to a 7mm. Aside from going out and getting a sendero for himself, what other real option does he have? I have scrolled the internet finding a similar rifle, he kinda has his heart set on a 26" barrel, stainless, and fluted. Browning makes the x-bolt long range carbon fiber, which is very similar to the sendero, as far as featured go. But there are no reviews for it on the web, any help would be nice or opinions on the x bolt would be awesome. He has looked at every rifle from a sako to a weatherby. It seems consist the more research you do only two actions keep popping up, the 700 and the savage? He really like the sako, very nice trigger, but selection is pretty limited. Any advice at all would be very appreciated...

Looking for advice on Vortex LR scopes
ctracingraptor replied to Coach's topic in Long Range Shooting
I have the hs-lr in 6x24-50, and i love it. Very good optic for the price, i waited forever for it to become available, good luck finding one if you choose to go that route, they are on backorder almost everywhere. Apparently is pretty popular....
