How can I get involved? In the hunt that is, not trying to stop the hunt.

I put in a week ago, 21 muzzy Bull(not a chance...), 4B early archery bull(maybe), and 4B goat.

I have the GAT *T models, are you telling me the BGAT's are noticeably better? If so, I GOTTA HAVE THEM!

I have the older Icon 1850 and I love it! Like everyone has stated, the pocket layout is very well thought out and it stays comfortable, even with a very heavy load. And the load sling mode is just stupid easy. After I loaded up last years buck, I stepped back like, "that's it? Nothing I have to tie down?"

It holds up about as well as you can hope for. I still have and wear my first pair of attack pant that I bought in 2011. They have the normal amount of pulls that you'd expect from a 4 year old pair of pants that get worn very regularly, but still hold up to rain and wind.

And my mountain pants were shredded by cat claw on the very first trip I wore them.

Kuiu, hands down the most comfortable hunting gear I've worn.

I know that happens a lot more than people think and I'm worried that if it continues, the GF is going to go to a draw for all archery tags. I've heard people defend it with "hey, the deer has a tag on it" but Ive never been tempted to take 2 in one year. It's just a matter of time before that take away the OTC archery deer tags.

I hunt around that area, access is already sketchy at best, don't want to lose anymore access. And land 2 hours away doesn't interest me as much as land 45mins from my front door.

I mistakenly drew a 20C tag, but i was given a few starting spots for another member. I'm sure ill find a way to have some fun!

I got dinged by a 300 UM Sendro. Still pissed about that one. I thought i had a good grip on that rifle and it just went right thru me and gashed me.

I saw a WT doe with one limpy ear this year. first I've ever seen.

That's messed up. I agree, which is why i pack out my old blades.

Ive quatered up 2 WTs with the same blade on my Piranta. Definitely need a good pocket knife to get thru the leg joints, otherwise you risk a broken blade. I pack out the used blades, but I've heard of hunters breaking them in half and sticking them in the gut pile for the coyotes.

I went from 100 gr 3-blade Muzzys to the chisel too GD, didn't see much, if any diff in accuracy. Good to know though.

Why not get both pros from one broadhead? The accuracy and wound channel of a mech, with the reliability and penetration of a fixed? Nolimitarchery.com. The GraveDigger. Comes in a cut on contact or a chisel tip(my choice).

I drew a 20C tag? WTF?!?!?!? wanted a 21 archery tag, not 20C. Never been to that unit. Crap....

And who the FU€K kills a desert tortoise? That's the one animal I haven't been fortunate enough to see in the wild. I've seen 3-4 dead ones, all with bullet holes in their shells. What kind of lowlife could do such a thing?
