I'm thinking it scores "Huge" and really nice.

I drew turkey in unit 1 and javelina in 20a and 20c. game and fish site was not working properly but the phone line worked.
-
grey hawk call the game and fish and they will send you a copy of your wifes app. I transposed some numbers on my wifes elk permit several years ago and I said the same thing after my wife drew a cow tag and there was no way I put in for cow.
-
m gardner if you used the same number you did for this years deer hunt they would have been 07 liscense and you needed your 08 liscense for the spring draw. Therefore your number would have been wrong.

Mr. Mass (aka: The velvet trixter) gets a photo session with smilin Epperson
jim replied to GRONG's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
This whole story is what it is all about. Congrats Josh on a fine buck. -
We saw alot of small mulies in 22 that had full velvet. The one my partner shot had velvet hanging off his horns when I first glassed him up the morning of the kill, however when he finally shot him he had knocked it all off.

They do have cameras that will email you the picture instantly.

Knight k2000 12ga muzzle loader with a 3.5 inch load of number 5's works pretty good.

No question, you will be more proud of your boy killing that buck than taking it yourself.

I live in eagar and I do not share your thoughts. I have been wood cutting in the pats knoll area and have not seen a deer in 6 trips so far. I do see the deer around greer however I see those deer year round. Most of the guys I have talked to about archery deer this year have seen very few deer. Some have seen several nice bucks but not as many as they normally do. I hope the winter can add to this rain fall we have had so far and maybe this drought can break and give these deer what they need to really kick start the herds.

270 I said the same thing on here a couple years ago and got trashed. For all the guys that say there are plenty of deer all you have to do is get off the road is that I have seen the day when you could drive the rim road and see 100 to 200 deer a day. You can not convince me those deer just hide behind the trees now. This population is need of help and if it's an archery draw that helps so be it. I for one will continue to hunt archery whether I have to draw or not. I don't think the whitetails are suffering near as bad as the mulies but I don't hunt down south that much. I know the northern units that I hunt still have good whitetail pops but how long will that last as hunting pressure shifts towards whitetails.

Great story and exciting hunting.

I had a decent bull bugling pretty good in unit 1 last week he walked to within 40 yards of me and my son and procedded to whipp up on some trees.

I shoot the 2 blade magnus and have excellant blood trails. If you have a marginal hit the blood trail is going to be marginal at best no matter what head your using. Marginal means you probally hit something that doesn't bleed well anyway.

%$&^#$% Camera Thief
jim replied to Big Browns's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Guys, it's like this we have pictures of 2 guys, but we can not see the camera in their hands. We will not post their picture because we do not know for 100 percent they stole the camera. We will talk to these guys if we see them in the area during the hunt. It would not be fair to post their pics if they are not the right guys. I do not know what area in 22 is getting hit that hard but our other cameras have not been bothered so far. -

jim replied to Deadeye Productions's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
I'm not a metal fan but that was a kick butt video. -
Bad day at the office or not. There's absolutley no excuse for that behavior. Attitude determines response on both sides.

Second chance to pay tag fees for any one who applied online
jim replied to MT. CAT's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
David, if i was to put in and not put my money in I would expect not to get drawn. However, I have made mistakes in the past and the g and f did call me and fix the issue. I always put my apps in where there is time to catch mistakes. I fully understand the rules concept however these people did not ask for this issue, so I am a whole lot more understanding than I would be if it was on a normal issue. I hope you enjoy your tag. -

How would you know if you were next inline for a tag ? To punish someone because they did not send in the right funds after they were drawn is stupid. What if the tags for a young kid does he deserve to be punished ? If you didn't get drawn get over it and good luck next year. -
well they at least left dna evidence so maybe the cops can get lucky that way.

My son and I found 3 elk, 1 coues and 2 muley horns today. The elk set was a nice find and the coues was cool. The mulies were dinks so did not post pics. The single elk pic my son found first and then I found the other side about 1.5 hr later around 3/4 of a mile away. He found the coues while looking for the other side.
