Next to last you are correct about the spot. I saw your camera a couple weeks before I set mine. I am not sure of the date. I figured I had carma on my side as the day I set my camera I went across the basin south of the trail on the next canyon rim I found a camera laying on the ground at a salt lick that appeared to have been knocked off by a bear I took the time to reset it and go about my business. So much for carma. Winmag I believe at times it might be tree huggers. But you will never convince me a tree hugger or nature walker is going to end up at this spring. There are some bad apples among us and some day it will catch up with them. But you did win me a bet with a friend I told him somebody would get on here and say that no way a hunter would do this they are all great people.

Iwould not suggest the cowbell things as in my opion it takes all the fight out of the fish. If you just troll the spinners and the super dupers you should do fine. Just use good quality swivels. You can also troll the fly's on spinning gear just use split shot to get them down and move slower. You can also put the fly behind a water bobber and let the wind drift you or troll super slow the fish will still come up and eat the fly's.

Awesome story on both counts.

I turned around in alpine this morning as it was getting soaked up in that country. I told my son I could hear those elk horns growing as we speak. -

I let that one go as I figured he gave me plenty of warning and he is just out trying to make a living too.

I saw several in the blue wilderness last week. I see them on one paticular ridge just about every time I go in there.

Bearcarver smacked this big bird on the second day in new mexico. The bird weighed 21.6 pounds and had a 10 inch beard along with 1 inch spurs. Bear carver will add some more pictures later.

You should be real proud of yourself for letting your buddy have the biggest bird. Theres alot of adults out there that could learn something from your actions. You are a class act.

It started with a bright idea of parking the truck at one spot and have my wife pick us up at the other end. Well around 14 miles later and at dark 4 of us had packed out 15 elk sheds 1 elk head and 1 muley head. I also found my firts coues set laying about 10 feet apart. I didn't get any group photo's as I suck on taking enough pictures, The dates wrong as I had knocked the battery out and did not reset the camera. Heres some of the pictures. I screwed up by not getting any group shot's but we had a blast. mule deer head 29 inch outside spread coues set my first set old 6 my brother found first brown of a set I found as I took the other photo I noticed this my brother walked into this clearing with 3 sheds and a head My boy was in the next basin over and he found this 5 pt 12.2 pounds and scored 150 inch's
