Nope, looks just like a big coues with a forked g2.

Do they have any projects in the 15's scheduled

See now this is Coues whitetail at it's best at least we can all agree on something and that there are worse things than the Az game and fish.
-
I have hung alot of whites in trees or just hung them when hunting with plans to return and get them later. Some times they are there and some time they are gone when I get back.

Anything we can do to stop the money hungry machine that is AZGFD?

Snapshot if you had bothered going to any of the meetings when they were discussing the increase you would have seen their justification. I don't agree with all they they do, however if this was controlled by a private company only the rich would hunt. The prices in the private world would be driven by what people were willing to pay and there's enough money out there to drive some stupid prices for the tags we have in this state. -
There is no 10% guaranteed for non resident. They can only draw up to 10% of the bull tags in a area. If 10% dont draw then they don't draw.
-
You no Lucafu1 you can request a copy of your application from the game and fish. I swore one time my wife should of had a bull tag as I knew what I put on the app they provided me a copy of my app and sure as crap I had put down the wrong number. That is why I like the on line draw system when I get done I know its right.

All the geese I killed on tonto creek many years ago were spot and stalk. We use to drive the road and glass the river and stalk the ducks and geese. -
How many coues guys are going to count their can of beans now?

For the most part their buying power of state contracts would not allow the buying of used vehicles. As tax payers if you wanted the departments to use used vehicles you would have to get the legislature to mandate that agencies purchase used vehicles. They also do not spend what a new vehicle cost the gen public they are bought at fleet pricing as they have to put out for bid what they want to buy. Their are so may rules on state agencies buying things that are all dictated by the politicians.

I would be worried in 16 or so years when you put out a hit list on whether or not it was for elk or the boys. Congrats kids are awesome.

I also heard there there was trail cam pics but the sd card was stolen before they could post them. Theya also shot it off a knob that someone else had already claimed that they parked there off road vehicle on.

It's up and running

Monsoon season carry a small tarp and make a small pond out of it. Makes a great way to catch alot of water if you are base camping out of a area.

That's awesome Will.

It's just like elk rutting the other bucks would be considered the satelite bucks. They are hoping to sneek in and steal a doe. Get yourself a doe in estrus can and a grunt call. The grunt call will stop a buck for the shot and can sometimes get them right up to you. The can will get the does coming towards you dragging the bucks with them.

We did not get to hunt until Christmas day. We had 6 days to get it done. Dave got his on day 2 150 yard shot with his trusty 243. I finally got it done on Monday the 6th day we had to hunt. It was a good hunt. My shot was with Dave's 270 sort mag at 243 yards.

Thank you Flatlander.

**Lets here your thoughts about new paper tags AND tags being withheld till jan1. :)
jim replied to hoghntr's topic in The Campfire
hoghntr I have hunted this state my entire life as for smart comments I dont know what the game and fish have done to you and azlance but some of us think that there are alot more things in life to worry about than what a tag is made out of. I could care less and just don't understand how it could have any effect on how I'm hunting or other life functions by what my tag is made out of. Obvisiouly you guys have some major deep issues with the game and fish and nothing anyone else says will have any effect. I wish that this issue was the worst thing that I could worry about in my life and I am really happy for you that the rest of your life is so peachy that this has to be the worst thing you are facing. Just go hunt something paper or not. As for being effected no I am not effected by this as I pre planeed and took care of my business ahead of time not wait to the last minute and have a crisis moment.
