This is the best advice most of the stuff I hunted in 1 and 27 I found while shed hunting. I was more willing to break it down and really explore when I was looking for sheds as I would criss cross the country more trying to see everything.

On a conspiracy note we have a invading foreign military aged force living among us. That is what I have found. Some spots last for years and when they do move it's not to far. Just have to relocate their new home core area. A friend of mine killed his pig this year within a hundred yards of where someone else I helped killed one around 3 years ago. I have also glassed a herd on that portion of the mountain probably the last 7 years at some point in time each year.

The unit we were in the last 3 days saw lots of tracks of deer chasing and rutting, I believe they were hard at it with the full moon. This is all mule deer however never glassed up a deer during day light hours. It was a ruff 3 days of deer looking.

No, I would not expect you to build a case but calling the tip line doesn't take much effort and telling them what you know. They will investigate it themselves.

Did you turn him and the proof that he did that in to the game and fish? If not your part of the problem. I say take archery to a draw then problem solved just put in on the spring draw if you want to be an archery hunter next year they can leave the seasons just like they are now. They wont do that because they would only sell a quarter of the archery tags they sale now. We need to police our own if we know guys that violate the rules turn them in.
