Got 92 pcs.of R-P 7mm RM Brass in the Mail
Hoss50 replied to lancetkenyon's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
You said you use RP stamp in your 7mm. I can't use it in my 7mm so you get it for helping me out. Load it and shoot it. Most of it is probably once or twice fired. -
What is the weight, and do you have a pic with the slide out out?
-
I shoot 1911 alot so grip safeties don't bother me. I went with the sig and am about to order a holster for it. I have yet to shoot it, but I like the fit and finish.
-
Does anyone have one? Thought? I am seriously considering getting one for my edc pistol. I have had my sig p250 for years and want to get back to a DA/SA pistol. My holster for the p250 is crapping out so now is the time to switch it up. I shoot 1911 so this sig aims right and appears to be a great bang for the buck gun.

Does anyone here do taxes and very knowledgeable about taxes and code? I normally do turbo tax, but this year my wife started a small business and I would like to have them done by someone who knows what we can/can't write off, and knows how to make sure we get the max. I have used H&R block in the past but I would rather pay someone on here my money if possible. or if you know a good tax person I would like that info too. I am in northwest phoenix. thanks harley

Nice. Congrats on the success. I was across the way in 7e and got skunked. I am tempted to put in for 7w though as I have a good idea where to ambush some in 7w.

Anyone else have any recommendations?

Like mentioned, they need something new to market. Whats old is new. It has all been done in the past, most of this stuff is just rehashing history with a new name and slightly different case. Technological advances in bullets and powder are much more exciting than these new calibers. They make much more difference than a new caliber name. The 6.5x55 swede has been doing everything the 6.5 Creedmoor has for over 120 years. Modern actions, powders, and bullets are what have advanced since 120 years ago.

The Sendero with a good scope is a great choice. A used gun in good condition may be even better bang for the buck if you know what you are looking for and what is around. I am working up an older Savage Tactical in 300wm right now to kind of be along these same lines. It isn't going to be a light gun, but it should be pretty accurate when I am done hopefully.

I made the mistake of trying one of the calvin elite triggers on one of Lance Kenyons rifles. Now I need to upgrade the trigger on my Savage 110 non-accutrigger. Should I do timney? Or _________? Harley

The one area I see on google earth that appears to be something like the article mentions is here. 34*03'22.49" 111*26'47.94" The ridge runs from just south of matazal peak and heads northeast away from the main range toward Rye.

I love my 10x14 kodiak.

I saw this on another site earlier. It is a good read. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1406554542688018&id=116999698310182

makes you wonder where that one went..... One of the ones that came back was a nice Belgium BAR in 7mm mag so I am not quick to point fingers. That is a dang nice rifle too.

Keep checking sportsman's Warehouse. They have been popping up there.

Glad you are getting your gun back. My dad had 5 long guns stolen when I was young, probably about 10. They ended up finding 4 of the a few months later in a raid on a crack house in south phoenix. He got them back but he nevery flet the same about them. They rarely came out of the safe after that. The LEOs didn't return the magazines, which I heard is common. The weird part was one was a British 303, and it wouldn't chamber a round fully when we got it back. He took it to a smith and apparently someone, probably an LEO had pulled the bolt and unscrewed the bolt head a couple turns. It would close on an empty chamber, but not a loaded one. The one they didn't get back was the one he was most upset about. It was one of the nicer fully engraved Browning BPS 12ga. It was his favorite dove gun. Harley

That is a Bisley Vaquero. Nice gun.

Stomp, I am looking for more of a nice hunting trigger. Probably 2-2.5lbs. SSS says it can get up to 2lbs max, but would I be better served with a Timney or SAV-1? I would like a Calvin Elite like trigger, but this gun is going to be a field gun. I want a nice clean trigger more than a crazy light trigger.
-
Are you looking for any trades brass wise?
-
I have heard it is difficult to get SSS triggers, but have heard good things about them. They make them in runs I guess and are often sold out with several month backlogs. Thank you for the input. I may pursue trying to source an SSS trigger to see what they are like.

Maxxis makes a good trailer tire.
