    Camping in 7E in December

A couple years ago we rented and just went dry with a bunch of gallons of water bottles to ho bath in. Last year we took a buddies rv. We bought a role of duct wrap insulation and built a skirt around the bottom of the trailer. We planned to run a work light under the trailer at night to generate heat. The generator that was to run the light capped out so it was skirt only. It worked fine. The heat from the he trailer kept it warm. This was with temps in the low teens at night and wind. If it is colder your guess is as good as mine. We camped in an area with direct sun most of the hehe day too. This was for the December cow elk hunt in 7e.

    Opinions,

Jack the tire up off the ground and install the chains. That is the easiest way I have done it. Fronts vs backs is up for debate. Some people want to make sure they can steer, some people want the traction of the rear tires. The only times I have chained I have used all 4. What size tires do you have? I have a full set of 4 chains you can borrow if you need them. They fit about 31-32" tires.

Deer vs Hunter - Kinda unexpected

I like a good push hunt, and have been apart of them before in my life, but in my experience the pushers are also hunters with weapons trying to fill a tag. Having non-hunters push for you though is odd to me.

Deer vs Hunter - Kinda unexpected

He was a flusher for a hunter, not the hunter. He had an unfortunate incident which is a shame. Let the hunter hunt, don't use people to flush and push animals to the hunter. That isn't my idea of hunting.

Stop cheating at hunting. Let the hunter hunt.

    Unit 8 Knowledge

If I were you I would start looking in the transition areas where the pines turn to juniper. Get high and glass. Get to the places where roads aren't and see what you can find.

    Unit 8 Knowledge

The best thing to do in 8 is get boots on the ground and time behind the binos. They can be all over the place in 8. I have been on good hunts there, and hunts where you would swear you were hunting ghosts.

    Blocking FS Road !!!

Does he have a sun roof? I would leave him a note on his windshield letting him know that the sheriff & game & fish have been notified of his purposeful obstruction of the road. You might put a note on there that said the sheriff was going to send a tow truck to remove the broken down/abandon vehicle from the right of way...

    Online Shooting supply Store Question

I find it funny that everyone doesn't like paying for shipping on products. It is a cost associated with doing business. If you want "free" shipping you had better be prepared to pay higher prices on the products you are ordering to pay for that cost of business. Take a package down to the UPS store and try and have them ship it for you. I doubt you will be able to get package that is only a few pounds shipped to anyplace for less than $10-12. I work at a good size wholesale air conditioning company and we have a pretty decent FedEx rate, and I can't ship a package across Phoenix for less than $7-8.

    Kodiak Canvas 10x14 Tent Review - 2017

I put the stake through the tarp when necessary. I love my Kodiak tent. I wish I had bought the model pictured above with the big side windows, but other than that, I have no regrets.

    6A Elk Help

Hi Guys, I don't want any secrets or anything super special. I have a good friends who's father drew a CHAMP tag in 6A. He is a non-resident from Washington who comes down here to hunt with his son. He has a pretty nasty form of Rheumatoid Arthritis. He can't hump the hills hard anymore, but can do some stuff near roads. If anyone can give me some tips on the best places for a limited mobility guy to get an opportunity at an elk I would appreciate it. Thank you. Harley

    6A Elk Help

Thank you everyone who helped out. I am hoping with only 25 tags for the hunt he can get it done on a nice animal.

    6A Elk Help

    The hunt starts this Friday.
  22. My dad bought a bunch of ammo off a buddy many years ago. This canned ham is one of them, but we don't know what is in it. Does anyone recognized it? I don't really want to open it to find out if I don't have to.

What to do after snake bite?

I have pretty decent allergies, and I asked my allergist for an EpiPen. She had no problem writing a prescription for them. I keep 1 at home just because, and I keep one in my hunting pack. I have wanted to have 1 for a long time since I spend a lot of time away from the city sometimes doing offroading and hunting. Now that I have kids, I made it a priority.
