Buying a used suburban or yukon, what to look for?

Watch for the 5.3l motors with oIL consumption issues. -
Axisworks did a couple for me and they are great.

Looking to have Hard Start Kit Installed on AC Unit
Hoss50 replied to elkster9's topic in Classified Ads
The furnace would have a separate capacitor for the motor. Replace that capacitor and see if you are still having issues. A hard start has nothing to do with a furnace normally. -

A hard start is a secondary capacitor that gives your compressor a bigger shot of power at startup to help get it going. Usually that means your compressor isn't in great shape and they are trying to nurse it along for awhile. Replace your units main capacitor at the same time you add the kit. If the old one is good but it on the shelf in the garage. Your capacitor going out is one of the most common causes for an ac unit to not work. They are a $2-25 part normally depending on the size and type your machine uses. -

Romanian AK-47 Drum Magazine 75rd 7.62X39 Price drop Back up

Very few SKS were ever setup for AK mags. I have seen a couple that were, but most took a special mag that was specific to SKS's. -
Annette's Powder Keg. I haven't seen that name in a long time.

If you don't find anyone on here call Comfort Experts and ask for Ryan. Tell him Harley sent you. Realistically though if you need a hard start kit, that is probably a bad sign and you need to get the equipment serviced, and possibly start planning on replacing it. Hard starts are often used to bandaid a compressor that is failing. Change your capacitors at the same time. -
Diesel Derminator did the 6.0L repairs on a buddy of mines Ford 6.0L and seems like he did good work for a fair price. My buddy had 1 cracked head and did most of the bulletproof stuff. A couple years later though the other head gave up. Not the repair guys fault, as he suggested they do both heads, but my buddy didn't want to fork over the money for the 2nd head which didn't seem to be a problem at the time.

I picked up a couple of the Victorinox pairing knives awhile back and love them. They are very handy, and have stayed pretty darn sharp.

I second Pro Diesel.

6.5 Rifle Build/Assembly Update!!!
Hoss50 replied to Hoss50's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I do need a cheek riser. I currently have a ballistic nylon ammo carrier/cheek rest from one of my other rifles on it, but I plan to get a custom leather one built to help keep the old school feel of this rifle intact. -
I love a 45LC wheel gun!

How much are the Rugers where you are? Up here I can get one for $750. Buds guns has the Kimbers for $882. For the $130 difference I think I am going to end up with a Kimber at some point with the night sights.

I picked up a pound of RL26 today on the way home @ sportsman's warehouse. I have some 140gr SMK's to try with them in Lapua brass soon. Berger gave me some good load data with the 140gr bullets & RL26. Quite impressive velocity claims compared to the other 2 powders he gave me info on. -

Garage doors insulated / non insulated? Gauge ? Etc .
Hoss50 replied to Eagle mountain ranch's topic in The Campfire
Insulated with foil backed insulation. The only time I would say maybe not is if your garage was north facing and didn't get a lot of sun. That heat will radiate into your attic and house. Keep it outside. -
I have shot my dad's sig with aim point at 200yrd on 8" steel with no problems.

I put in for an early rifle cow hunt in October. I have to get lucky though since 2 points isn't enough to autodraw. December in a tent up there sucks. October is much better, but a much harder draw. Harley

I have been thinking a lot about the Ruger 10mm, but I think when I go 10mm I am going to do the Kimber TLE. Factory night sights and it is only about $100 more on Buds Guns.

We did not. We only had Saturday to hunt/scout on this go around due to a work issue with my buddy. We spent most of our time trying to figure out the area. We glassed for a few hours in what appears to be good country but didn't find any. We spent a little time teaching my 5 year more about gun safety and helping him get some target practice.

Hi All, I normally hunt 20A for Javalina, but I missed this years draw because of a family emergency. I went down to G&F today and picked up a couple left over tags in 17B which I have never hunted before. Is anyone willing to share some insight into the unit? Where to access the unit and camp, general hunt info, etc. I don't need any specifics unless you are willing to share them, but just some guidance and ideas. I have been thinking about accessing the unit off the 93 via the Bagdad turnoff. I live in NW Phoenix, so I can hit Grand Ave and be up that way fairly quickly. Is it better hunting off the skull valley side? Thank you. Harley

These trucks sell for that price all the time in good shape with reasonable miles. KBB doesn't count when you are talking about 5.9L Cummins trucks.

I finally was able to get a few boots on the ground this weekend in 17b near Bagdad. My next tip request is for some decent camp spots. Camping seemed much more spars then I was expecting. I am planNing on hunt near Bagdad for the rifle hunt in a couple weeks.
