Location? Which way did your son end up shooting? I have a son with the same issue.

Bump. Nice score on the 2nd gen with low miles and 6 speed. I loved my old 2nd gen. I also love my 3rd gen.

Not enough... A goal this year is to work more on my flexibility.

I will take the 22 wrf ammo. I will text you tomorrow.

I had to take a break to heal a knee for my hunt in October, but I am back at it and enjoying it alot. I still know so little, but I am learning every class. We dont do any live standing take downs in the fundamentals class I am in because of the injury risk. We work on them for technique, but start rolling from our knees.

Does anyone have the link to the reports that AZGFD usually has up showing the amount of bonus pass tags drawn, and 1/2 pass tags drawn? I have no been able to locate it yet.

My prime rib is going to hit the smoke in my new Traeger I picked up yesterday for awhile to get some smoke, and then is going to take a dip in 350* peanut oil til it is finished.

There are a better availability of better tires and load ratings on 225 size tires.
-
Getting 225 tires is definitely the best option.

I have an 18' Carson that I bought new in 2006. It has been great. PJ and big Tex are good too.

A couple years ago my buddy and I spent a night in my kodiak 10x14 on a cold night on a late elk hunt. We had 2 buddy heaters. I on high connected to a BBQ tank, and one on low. Even with that setup it wasn't super comfortable in the tent when you were trying to get up in the AM and get dressed. We didn't freeze, but we were not toasty warm either.

Keep the 6.5-270AI or get the .280AI

6.5x55 AI... 😁 I love a good old 6.5x55, but a 280AI would be nice too. -
Auto body? Anyone on here do auto body work on the west/north west side of tow? Someone hit and ran my truck parked in front of my house a few nights ago while we were asleep. Now I have to get it fixed.

A Ruger Hawkeye should be the M77 action. It should be a good rifle.
-
My kid should be on the larger side so he may be able to go straight to a full size, at least that is my hope.

I will be headed down this road in a few years for my older son most likely. He is right handed but left eye dominant. He also can only keep his left eye open individually so I think he will end up shooting lefty.

Savage makes the model 11 in a lefty compact in 7-08.

Nice bulls. What unit is that?

For a dedicated coues gun I think a fast .224 would be fine. If I was going to build a deer rifle for all deer including bigger muley, I would look to .243 something at a minimum.

I figured, but I thought I would ask. I will pass for now on those. -
I had to take a break for about 6 weeks off. A couple weeks for my knee to heal that I twisted while rolling, and then to go on my Kaibab deer hunt. I got back in the groove last week and cant wait til the days I get to train. I have a huge advantage as a giant human, but I am still learning alot, and know so little. 160lb dude that is flexible like gumby with a good guard is my kryptonite. If it wasn't for my size, and some wrestling experience from high school I would be totally drowning. I love the challenge though.

All 4 boxes of 6.5 bullets for $25? If so I will take those. -
My sporterized Swede likes 140gr bullets, but it used to shoot the 120gr really well too.

They have done such a great job marketing them that I have never heard of them, let alone shot them...
