CBD balm or roll ons work wonders on knees. If you have not tried them you should. CBDMD is a good brand. I use their liquid tinctures for joint pains and muscle aches too. I almost never use ibuprofen now after switching to good CBD products.

The pillow cases are good too, the zippered ones are a good idea. I like the bags I use because you can use the draw string to hang them with from a tree or what not. They are reflective too. One of the last rear quarters we had we hung in a tree and came back for it in the dark. It was super easy to spot. The headlamp made it shine.

Alot of the bucks will be up higher in the pines or burns until it gets cold or they start getting shot at.

We did have a small saw one day 1 which cleared a decent amount. We ran into some big ones though near the end and we sent a guy to buy a bigger chainsaw. We got an 18" stihl and "sally" put in some good work on 3 big pines and 1 oak. We spent about 3hrs eachnday on 3 different days to get all the trees cleared so we could get where we were going. Luckily the biggest ones were near where we wanted to be so we hiked past them til we cleared them. We were in AZ.

Talley makes 20moa rings. Make sure the PO didn't put the rings on backward.

My rifle isn't fast enough twist to stabilize. I will trade these for a comparable lighter hunting bullet. Or other calibers too. Should be about 91 left in the box. 7mm (140-150gr) 6.5mm (140ish gr class) Located near arrowhead.

I have a few old cheap scopes that I want out of my garage. $25 each or if it is for a kid, you can have 1 free. Free scopes for kids will be 1 per person. If you pay for them buy 1 or more. 1 bushnell, 2 Simmons. The grey simmons has very fat duplex. The other 2 are normal duplex. Located in North Glendale near arrowhead.

I cleaned out the inbox. Are they TSX or TTSX?
-
The rifle is a 10 twist. It was shooting them 2.5+" at 100 yards. It shot the 150gr ELDX much better so I am going to try and use those to work a load or maybe some Barnes TTSX maybe.

Sending PM now.

Awesome bull especially for that unit. Congratulations.

Down around 20 should be fine with E rated. Especially if you have a way to air up before you do a long highway run.
-
Which load range tire are you running? C or E? E is stiffer and I would say about 20-22, C a little higher. This is assuming you are not running wide rims too. When I was rock crawling we routinely got down in the 13-18 range, so 20-25 is going to help, but keep it high enough to protect the sidewall a little still be road safe if you can't air up before you get to a gas station or something.

They had a couple 500 bullet boxes on Friday afternoon. Just and FYI for a hard to find bullet.

Has anyone used the .25 cal 131gr Blackjack on game yet? How did it perform?

Kodiak Tent or Spring Bar experience camping in sand?
Hoss50 replied to 1uglydude's topic in The Campfire
Take ED67 up on his 4 pieces at 5'. Cut them in half and you will have 8 - 2.5' stakes. I would think that would be enough augment with your standard stakes for the remaining holes. -
My buddy was borrowing 1 of my rifles for a hunt s few years ago. It had a redfield revolution 3x9 on it. Good entry level scope if you can find 1 with the hash mark reticle. Anyway, he dropped the rifle and put a big dent in the front bell of the scope. It didn't mess up the glass, but the bell was dented. Redfield is owned by Leupold. I sent it in with request to fix and was 100% truthful on how it happened. They put a new bell end cap on the scope and didn't charge me anything. They called me, I offered to pay. They said no, and I mentioned I would like to buy a flat turret cover to help make scope leveling easier with those scopes. I have 3. The put 2 flat covers in the box and sent it all back with a new neoprene scope cover. Customer service was top notch. That said, I would look at a Leupold or Burris with a easy hold over reticle. 3x9 would be great. I have shot rifles to 500 yards accurately with the Redfield above in 3x9x40. If you go Vortex, don't go cheaper than a Viper series IMO.

New, not once fired correct?

Don't shoot them all, I have the tag the week after. Good luck to the kids.

Newly Approved Hunter Ethics Course for the Bonus Point
Hoss50 replied to rossislider's topic in The Campfire
Can someone who already has the Hunters ED get another point for this course? If they can buy a point why can't I? I already did the ED class as a kid. -
Randy's has built alot of good transmissions for friends of mine.

I shot this bird yesterday, and as I walked up on it I saw this big growth. It was crazy looking. Apparently it is called avionpox and is highly transmissible in birds. It was a big soft tumor like growth.
