I don't love this. It basically sounds like you will be selected to kill alot of bison, and then spend 5 days packing meat out. Of which you "might" receive a whole bison. I also think it is dumb that straight wall cartridges are not allowed. It's not like they didn't almost exterminate the millions of bison from north America with them in the not so distant past. I will not be volunteering to be an unpaid exterminator of bison and then spend 5 days packing them out of who knows where.

Are they necessary, or should I be mobile and not restricted by the decoys? This is my first Turkey hunt, so I am trying to figure stuff out. I bought some calls and have been working them trying to get used to them. I sure am happy I had some Turkey ammo stashed away for a rainy day because trying to find some has been rough.

I almost bought that box about 30 minutes ago, but at $8 a round I will run the lead Turkey loads I have already.

Bumper hitch is fine for smaller trailers. It is easy to hook up and allows use of the bed. If you tow alot or tow larger trailers Gooseneck or 5th wheel adapter to gooseneck is the way to go. They tow much better and maneuver better. I have towed with GN and bumper. My toyhauler is small at about 22' so bumper is ok for that. It I was going bigger though I would be looking for a 5th wheel and use the GN tower like pictured above.

That is one of my favorites. Sportsmans has them sometimes if you don't find one here.

Hopefully that helps a little.

The Wife had it in February. It was mild, and she is fine.

So my friend is a cheap butt and just bought a Ruger predator. He is looking to put a scope on it, but he is cheap and the most I can probably talk him into is about $300. This will be for his first elk hunt this year. I think he would prefer hold over reticle or MOA instead of standard plex. My go to in that range was the Redfield revolution, but those are now discontinued and they rebrand them to Leupold and marked them up 20% to call them leupolds. What say you?

Randall's had a couple boxes yesterday of ELD something. I don't know it it was M or X.

Location? Same as above if he doesn't get it from you.

3.5" loads are just abusive. I have some, but I have lit on off in 15 years because the 3" have done everything i needed.

I know Jim, he is good people. He does alot in unit 9. If you are serious about a guide Jim Mullins is a great choice.

Supply and demand. Don't blame them.

Got a CC hit for elk. I need you all to send me your best spots to hunt. I know about the power lines and hunting the res without permission, but I need your best spots in all units!

Does anyone have a good condition somewhat entry level 308 they are thinking of selling. I have a buddy of mine who drew an elk tag with me and he is looking to get his first center fire rifle and wants a 308.

I found my irons at PGA store for a good price used. Also check Jerry's used golf shop for clubs and balls. They are at roughly Cave Creek and bell.

Tombstone, McClintock, Rio Bravo, Lonesome Dove, Unforgiven, The Shootist, Open Range, etc. Many more, those are just some of my favorites.

Demers did the sliding glass door at my house last year and did a great job. Price was fair too.

Failed at what? Did they miss the deadline to pull tags and mail them out yet?

I have hunted 12a for walk before...only because I had the seer tag too though.
