Does anyone have any experience with the Optika 6 lineup? I am looking at the 3x18x50 model. I am looking to replace a Vortex HSLR 6X24x50. It is to much scope for the rifle it is on.

Hi All, My friends and I just drew unit 29 in the leftover draw. I have hunted here in the past but it has been probably 15 years. It is actually the area I drew as my first ever deer hunt back in the day. Back then my Dad and I hunted pretty high up near some of the peaks in the Chiricahua's. Is the action better down lower in the mountains or is up high still pretty viable? Any pointers or insite would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Harley

Great pack. I have the same one and love it. I used mine to haul out alot of heavy packs of elk last year and the pack was a champ. 1 load was over 100lbs easy and the pack performed well. Great price too.

Sportsmans north Phoenix and Bruno's have them in stock.

I have been using Seekins lately.

At least right now R22 has a viable drop in replacement that is about the same price as R410a. That said. 5 years ago or less R410a was $70/jug. Today it is $430/jug.

Comfort Experts is the one I recommend in the east valley. Tell them Harley from Steven's referred you if you call them. You are in a catch 22 situation though. Systems are going to go up 10-20% in the next 2-4 months because of the new 2023 higher efficiency requirements. The bad news is if you replace your system now, in 2025 they are changing refrigerants and R410a is going to be harder to get and more expensive as the years go on. I am in the AC wholesale business so I see alot of fun coming over the next few years that the regular joe doesn't see or know about.

Leupold helped me out with a redfield revolution scope on one of my rifles. My buddy dropped it too and dented the end of the scope at the objective lens. I sent it in and they repaired it no charge. That scope is now on a rifle I just put together for my son.

How long and how tall is this? I have an older toyhauler and length sometimes is an issue. For reference it won't fit a 4 seat RZR 1000, but a 900 will.

I just ordered a rifle for my son in 7mm-08. It is a ruger american with 1:8.5 Twist. Who is shooting it and what bullets are you favoring? What powders seem to work best? Thanks Harley

Axisworks has threaded and braked 3 rifles for me. Great work.

Grainger will retail it probably.

If we do UFC tourney for tags I am all in. I have better odds to get a high enough draw in that system then I do in the normal system. 😂👍

I didn't get drawn I am pretty sure, but AZ has one of the best systems out there in my mind. I have enough deer BP to draw most a bunch of tag areas, but I want the hard to draw areas so I am waiting. The cool part is there is always that chance that I get a lottery tag and don't have to wait as long.

Here is the charger mounted under the trailer. I grabbed a waterproof box off amazon to mount it in.

I used this kit and added a 2nd panel to up it to 200w on my TT last winter. So far so good. I also have the battery temp probe that I am going to install.

Location? I will take them if they are available and somewhat nearby.

It is raining pretty good in Durango. I hope some of this hit Flagstaff before it got here.

My 10yr old just passed the online course for the hunters ed. Are they actually doing and requiring field days right now. I only see 1 showing that is way over in Clifton. Does he have to have the field day to be eligible to hunt? I know they cancelled them during covid.

Let me know the date if it happens and I will make sure it fits our schedule and get him enrolled.

Great gun especially if you have a lefty in the family. It is truly ambidextrous.

I took the class years ago, but will definitely attend the field day with him to make sure he is comfortable. He didn't draw an elk tag, but we will see if he can manage a deer tag maybe.
