I have more slower powders than faster ones. I am thinking lighter bullets might help with less recoil though. I am going to try a few different things and see what I can find in stock. Bullet wise and see what will shoot with the powders I have around. I have some H4350 so I might give that a run with some heavier bullets.

I found a box of 150gr ELDX and 168gr Berger HVLD in my stash today, but I think the Bergers are to heavy for the small case. I will probably try some ELDX just for fun though.

I ordered my son his first rifle, and want a simple scope for him with BDC style reticle. The only scope I have in house for it is the Burris Fullfield E1 with MOA reticle 4.5x14x42. I want to trade it for something with a little less magnification and simpler reticle with BDC. Redfield Revolution 3x9x40, 4x12x40, Leupold 3x9, etc. I can put money in on my end if needed for something that is nicer. Or i will sell this outright for $180. It is brand new never mounted.

I am thinking like 130-140gr mono's like a TTSX or Hammer. Maybe a partirion. Sometime tough in case he misses the boiler room and hit shoulders or something. I have a pound of Varget that I bought for a rainy day so maybe I will start there since I don't really have many powders in the burn area that this round seems to like.

Ya, it was pretty cool. I was able 2 shoot 2 different guns that are not out yet. The Sig Cross PRS and Sig 320 10mm. I am going to have to buy that 10mm. It ran nice. It was pretty well run and I am sure will be better next year.

I shot a 6.5 creedmoor suppressed yesterday at Sig Freedom Days! 😂

What is the dot reticle?

I just got a newer truck that has paint in good shape. What are you using on your truck to help minimize the effects of AZ Pinstripe? I don't want to spend a ton of money on a ceramic, but does wax or things like that help give it some buffer to help minimize scratches?

For moose, Hammers or Barnes.

Yes scammer. He PMed me out of nowhere trying to sell me something.

My job requires I have a vehicle that looks respectable so I have to compromise. I can't have it all nasty scratched to heck, but if I can get a decent amount of it to buff out that is ok with me to have some scratches.

It is gun metal grey. I don't expect no scratches, but want to know if something can be applied before a hunt to help prevent/minimize the scratch when you clean it up after.

I saw the aftermath of this in 12a years ago. A road we went do the day before had branches that would scratch a truck. The next day it was all trimmer back so someone could get in with less scratches.

Top. A couple more days and I am putting it on craigslist and such.

I have heard of issues with both too, but I am not aware if anyone making better bearings for these trucks short of doing a free spin hub conversation on them.

SFK are my 2nd choice behind Timken. You are right about wear item, especially if you have larger tires or wide offset rims. Keep an old one as a spare in the truck when you new ones. Once they are replaced and have anti seize they are not that hard to change. I did one in a Gas station parking lot in Camp Verde one time when I had a failure. I kept a spare in the truck and it saved my butt.

Timken bearings are what you want. I usually get them local at Parts Authority. I did both sides in my 2005 a few years ago. Do yourself a favor and think about just doing the axle Ujoints and ball joints at the same time if they are even remotely questionable. It is alot of work, but I did it myself in less than a day. I do have some of the special tools though to make it easier. If you don't do the other parts at least use a TON of anti sieze on the bearings so you can get them out easier later.

Please don't use A3...

I will take all 6. I am in north Glendale.

I have a son about to turn 7 in a few weeks. I am looking for a 22LR for him to have for his first rifle. I figured I would check here before I just order something. Youth size preferred, but let me know what you have. Phoenix metro preferred.

Are the Wolverines still available?

My son has outgrown these boots. They are nice tall Danner boots. They are in good shape and didn't get worn a ton. $30 obo. Located in north Glendale, but I travel around Phoenix for work. My office is near 20th St. & Broadway.
