Hey guys, I’m cleaning out the garage and need to get rid of this Champion generator taking up space. It’s basically brand new, started only twice in the garage and never placed under load. Let’s get rid of this thing. $150 OBO

I just bought the new rangefinding binos so I need to unload my old rangefinder. I love this thing! If you haven't used one, they are lightning fast, and can range the full 2000 yards away. It's a great range finder and barely used. $275 OBO

Sorry guys, I got stuck out of town for a few weeks and wasn't able to follow through on some messages. It's still available. First $150 gets it. I'd like to get rid of it today! -
I’m heading out of town here shortly for elk camp and wanted to check for reports of if they’ve started up the bugling chaos yet or not. With this heat I’m assuming the second week should be much better and they should be more fired up. I’ve heard of some bugling here and there in 10 and 3c, but definitely not fired up yet. What have you all heard so far?

I just ordered a 16x20' Davis wall tent with 3 windows on each side. Roy Davis recommended I go with the 4 rafter setup since the weather in AZ isn't ever really going to require more, and it will make it so there are no poles in front of the windows. I'm just curious if it will be enough or if the roof will sag too much? Anybody have experience with 4 vs 5 rafters in a tent this big?

Friday evening I was able to tag this guy. Basically I had another 4x5 bull called in to 40 yards and passed on him 10 minutes earlier, right around 5:15pm. I circled the base of the hill I was hunting and got to 20 yards on a small 2x3 and passed on him. It was about 5:25 and I heard a bugle off in the not far distance. My brother in law and I headed in on him. I gave him a lost mew... nothing. Added a little whine in with it and he called right back. Bingo. Worked in to about 75 yards and got setup. We setup a pretty good doorway that he should walk right into at about 15-20 yards and began calling him in with the assembly mew. About 2 minutes later the cow he was cruising with came in to 10 yards in our doorway and just stared a hole right through us. She sat there staring for a good 2-3 minutes, but we had good wind and she didn't even know we were there. She took two steps forward and then I see the bull through a thick tree coming in. In the clearing there was a 6' stump of a tree that I figured I'd draw back when he got behind the stump. He hit the stump and I drew back. He stepped out from behind the stump perfectly in the clearing broadside at 23 yards. Thwack! Waited 30 minutes and followed the blood trail. He didn't make it 150 yards before he piled up. I couldn't be any happier with him. The bulls were pretty vocal every morning and shut up about 7am. Evenings were hit and miss with bugling, just depended on the area you were in. I stayed a few more days and called in about 7 more shooter bulls to 20-30 yards. I love this whole rut elk hunt thing!! I want to thank all of you who helped me out with pointers, tips, etc. It was all well appreciated!!

Add me to the list of people that don't like the Viper 15s. I think the edge clarity kind of sucks, and the color is awful. They're pretty washed out color wise.

That's awesome!!!

What a bull!! Congrats.

Went out this morning and called in 5 different bulls within 20 yards. They seemed pretty vocal today and responded nicely. The first bull I called in to 4 yards and he was a nice 5x5. I don't have the video of that one, here's the second call in of the day... a little 3x3 but still cool to see them that close. https://www.facebook.com/kasdanh/videos/10155108263912956/
