I picked up a 12A turkey tag for the hunt starting 4/29 and know nothing at all about the unit. I've hunted the last couple years in 6A, but didn't get drawn so picked up a leftover. I hear there are a ton of turkeys up there, but that time of year there are access problems, snow, mud, and horrible roads. I'm thinking about bringing my popup trailer, or should I just bring the canvas tent? I've heard the 67 is closed that time of year, so how do you access the areas along that road? Good camping spots? Finally, where are the turkeys? Thanks guys!

You definitely want to spend the extra money for the swivel model as well.

I just recently picked up a Redline D610 and love it. It's a great bike. If you have access to promotive, you can get Redline and Diamondback on there.

Well I made some brats from my coues deer I got in November. I'm trying them out for the first time right now. I'm not sure why, but I'm a bit nervous. My first time making sausage of any sort by myself and I made my own seasoning rather than using a store bought one. We shall see.

They weren't the best. Pretty dry and flavorless. Anybody have a good recipe for my next attempt?

I've always wanted to try my hand at NM turkey. I've heard it's a blast, many more turkeys than here.

That would be my concern as well. I'd be freaked out after spotting them way back there that I couldn't focus on the hunt.
