Well I know we dont even have the recommendations out for tags next year but im really thinking about next year for elk. I will have 6 points going into the draw and really dont know what to do. I can do any weapon choice so im just wondering what you all would choose if you had 6 points and is it possible to get a good elk tag next year that I would be able to shoot a decent bull. Whenever I draw a tag I scout the heck out of it, just looking for opinions and thoughts. Thanks Daniel

Really thinking hard about a 6B archery first choice and then a mix of rifle hunts after that, I have only hunted a few late elk hunts, are the big bulls set in there ways in the nastiest country I can find, or do they move around.

Just a little vent session, went out to 21 this morning to check my cams, been out since may but I have been checking them every two weeks. Drove in today, walked to the opposite side of the pond and that cam is gone, lock box and all. I have two other cams in the area and when I go to check them, both sd cards are gone. Gotta love it, im a little peaved but I guess its whatever. The only other thing that bugs me is there is now a ground blind on said pond, wasnt there two weeks ago. Would like to know if you have a cam on the tank and if you got pics of anyone carryin a lock box. I know its a lost cause, just a little(a lot) pissed off. Thanks for letting me vent. Kinda feeling like this is a long shot but Im wondering if anyone knows how the pears look down on the san carlos, ill be there in a few weeks trying to whack a bear with my recurve, last year we couldnt find the pears so im just curious if anyone knows. Thanks Daniel
