    Backpacks?

Were they empty, or still loaded? They were empty. It looked like where they did an exchange. I did notice something that I've not seen before. The old packs had all the empty water bottles and food wrappers inside them. Are the drug runners going "green"?! That's certainly what I thought

I was able to pick up some gently used backpacks in 36A while scouting

Ok, here are two types of terrain I'm running into. The first is the water. I can sit at the water hole all day I guess. Or, should I be investing my energy into the terrain in the later photo? For the last photo, I was thinking about sitting at the base of the big rock formation in the center o the picture. I did a lot of scouting today and ran into a guy wearing a pith helmet, ha ha.

Thank you for the links. I actually just got in from scouting. I went down the end of Sirrieta Rd. It's like a spider web with all the trails there. I did find what I thought were some good spots. One in particular that was about half way up a hillside. There was standing water. It looked like the water was kept there from the way the rocks were formed. The water was stagnant and had the green film on it so I don't know if its being used. There were sign on the water edge though. I know there is a way in on the road between Amado and Arivaca so I'll try that tomorrow morning. I've seen one o the water catches but don't know if I should hunt that because it will also attract hunters as well (opinions please?). I don't want the sun to come up and be able to see 4 other hunters. I haven't deer hunted since the early 80's but this year I decided to get back into it. I'll be going with one of my daughters. Hi, I am hunting 36A this year and had some questions. I've never hunted Coues before. I am assuming that everyone hunts in higher elevation. Is this correct? Also, how do you access 36A? Where do you go in to get to the mountain areas? Thanks, Mike
