I'll be out in 37b in Blaze Orange with 999 yahoos with rifles. I got skunked in HAM hunt so I'll be out there with my bow again. Taking a new friend on his first hunt. Guy is super excited so hopefully we can find some piggies!

I'm looking for the G&F Bonus point reports (bonus point pass and 1-2 point pass) by hunt number. I know where to find my bonus points.
-
Could you share where this years bonus point reports are located? I cannot find them on azgfd. Thanks

What camo pattern is it? Optifade Open Country?

Great pics. Looks like the area I used to see them near PhonD

Not really in Queen Creek, but on QC and Alma School. It is called Shoppers and it moved into the old Target. The space is huge! Nice selection of boots and western wear. Decent rifle selection but very little ammo. Also a small selection of bows and archery supplies. A big selection of cases for rifles and bows. Also a big selection of safes. The guys that work there claim they are putting in an archery lane to shoot. There is a feed section there because you can smell it although I've never been to that side of store. Hopefully it makes it because that shopping center is dead http://www.shoppersfarmstore.com/main.php

I'll be there this weekend to go skiing at Alta. Didn't know this was going on. Doubt I will make it. The 200 tag draw seems like a good opportunity but you need to have purchased a UT license. I'm calling to verify my hotel reservation now, looks like Salt Lake is going to be packed.

To the top (keeping thread alive)

Although you are not trying to "take" big game by baiting, the justification for making it illegal is it promotes spread of disease. Sounds like you could use a salt though.

I would mount that head exactly like that! Post pics of the Broadhead/skull when you dissect that guy

I've looked through that Bushnell scope that comes on that rifle and it is horrible. You are going to be extremely happy once you get a quality scope on that 700.
-
Sounds like you had a great time which is all that counts. Don't worry, we didn't see anything in 37b Fri-Sunday either. Every hunter I spoke with was also skunked.
-
Glassed this up from a distance and came home and looked it up on google maps. Any guesses what it is? Thanks

That is what I thought! Hopefully that has water. Every tank I hit up today was bond dry.

Great job Couespursuit and Mesa PD!

That sucks. I hate buying from Best Buy

I'll be out in 37b early Friday morning. Going to be doing day trips Fri-Mon so I hope to seal the deal early. 4 weeks into owning a bow and I'm grouping arrows out to 60yds! I'm addicted. Hopefully I'll be posting pics

I picked up the J13 original at Archery Headquarters. Been practicing but for the life of me can't make it sound like the audio clip. Sounds more like Donald Duck in distress. I'll keep practicing though until I go deaf.

Is the tripod the new Gen2? Or original?
-
40-60% chance in 37b. I'll be following fresh tracks in the flats if it rains too. Temps aren't going to drop though
-
Great question considering it looks like we are going to get some rain for opening day HAM hunt.

Hey that's my house in the background. I know where this is.

Price on scope? You know you want to sell it.

I received my first pair of quality hunting binoculars about 7 years ago as a gift from my brother. I have no idea where he bought them or how much they were. I carry my Alpen 10x42 on a bino harness. Well two seasons ago I was climbing up a steep ridge when rocks below me gave way and I took a spill. In an effort to save my rifle and scope my binos took the blunt of the blow. I looked through them and sure enough I saw two of everything. Long story short, I got a great deal a pair of Nikon Monarch5 12x42 which I love. I figured my Alpen's were just a paper weight. Talking to the guy at Sportsmans he told me just to send my Alpens in because they had a great warranty. I called them up, got a service number and spent the $7 to ship them to California. The lady taking the call was extremely helpfull and nice. I called back a couple weeks later to verify they received my binoculars. I spoke to the same lady and she told me the bino's were unable to be fixed. Then she told me that they had already shipped out this years new model to me free of charge! In less than 3 weeks total I received my new binos which are better than the ones I sent in. I called my brother and thanked him for my new binos. I know there are not a lot of Alpen fans out there, but with all the talk about how great Vortex warranty is I thought I would give Alpen their credit. I'll now keep them in mind if I ever run across any good deals on used optics.
