It's killed things pretty good from my familes experience with 165gr 30-06. Dead is Dead. Shoot it where you're supposed to shoot it and you don't loose meat. Same goes for Winchester Power Point. If I wasn't so set on long range accuracy I would still be shooting this load for a lot cheaper than what I spend now.

Where are you located?

Any sign of what killed that second one?

12fps increase, is that all? Haha. Terrel got me almost 19fps increase! Thanks for the recommendation.

Az otc mule deer hunt by outdoor international on youtube

Was curious myself. -

After a lot of research and looking I got a great deal on a 2012 Bowtech Destroyer 350 off of Archery Talk. The first thing I did was take it to Terrel at AZ Custom Bowstrings. He was able to turn around custom Blue/Silver BCY452x strings in under a week. At 60# the bow was shooting my 375gr arrow 276fps and after strings and tune is shooting 295fps! Added QAD, Octane Quiver, Bee Stinger Stabilizer and my old sight. I'll be adding a 3-pin slider soon. Either BlackGold Ascent or CBE Tek Hunter. I also think I'll be going up in arrow weight getting ready for my upcoming Elk Hunt. Looks like I'll be shooting every morning before work for the next 3 months. Thanks to those of you on this forum that have helped me out along the way

Haleakala sunrise bike tour is worth it. I thought Hana was overrated. Kaanapali beach is great for just hanging out and relaxing. Aloha Mixed Plate on Front Street is also a good stop. Hope you have a great time!

text sent on scout and tripod adapter. Thanks

Was hoping you had some photos to share from this trip. Since you were on the river and not at work I wouldn't call it a disappointment. My cousin works for one of the hatcheries for NMGF. I'll see if she knows anything.

I've sent you PM's with no replies ???

Great news. Taking the drive out to your shop just isn't reasonable during the week from Chandler. Thanks for the friendly service over the phone this week.

Looks Great! If you still have it, mount the shell casing on the frame. A picture of him with a big'ol smile would be nice too.

Were any of these affected by the trigger recall?

After running through the first dozen arrows of my bow hunting endeavor I decided to pick up some higher quality arrows from a member on this site. I finally got out to shoot them and was surprised by the results. Old Arrows: Vital Impact 400 (sportsmans warehouse) 7.4 GPI?? 29.0" length 358 grains total (100gr tip) 2" straight fletched New Arrows: Easton Bloodline 400, 7.7 GPI 27.5" length 375 grains total (100 gr tip) 2" helical fletched blazers Bow set-up: 27.5" draw, 60-62 lbs, Diamond The Rock, IBO 318fps I recently went from shooting 59 lbs and increased the weight on my bow one full revolution on each limb. I am guessing at the 60-62 lbs right now. Prior to this I was grouping really well out to 60yds with the Vital Impacts. When I shot at the range I was not surprised to see my old arrows shooting high with the increased draw weight, but the Easton Bloodlines were shooting low. I weighed the arrows at work on a precision gram scale to make sure my numbers were correct. I am out of form so I was all over the place as well and just getting used to the increased draw weight. Should there be that much of a difference in 17 grains total or 1.5" length? I expected more out of the bloodlines and was hoping to reach our further than 60 yds, but now I'm hesitant in even going to a heavier arrow for hunting deer or elk. On another note, this may all change if I go out and purchase a "speed bow" as opposed to my intro-to-archery Diamond. I'm a newbie when it comes to archery so don't rail on me too hard if I am doing something wrong, but I'll take any constructive criticism I can get. 30yds 50yds 60yds

Do you have any pictures? What is ATA?
-
Don't mean to jack your thread, but I'm in the same market as you. AT has a ton of bows on sale because there are guys out there constantly changing. I have narrowed my choice down to a couple Bowtech D350's and hopefully get a 2013 D350LE. Anywhere from $400-600 fully loaded. I hadn't seen that Invasion until now. I think your going to find it hard to get an Experience for as low as you want. Decisions-decisions!

Welcome to the site. I just got back from Gallup for work. I spend a lot of time there and always see tons of wildlife. I always come back 5 lbs heavier too - great food. I don't know much about NM27, but here is the AZGFD info on adjacent units in AZ. http://www.azgfd.gov/h_f/hunting_units_tucson.shtml

$$350 $$lh bow tech destroyer and sword sight
Norteno replied to hunter1026's topic in Classified Ads
This might be a dumb question, but is the sight either LH or RH? -
I saw a great WIDE buck in 37b for Javelina season and wish there was an early OTC archery hunt in that unit. It was pure luck though as I drove up on him in the flats.

Ok, well a lot of the time no sales tax. If there is tax and paying for shipping I'll buy local. Items: $53.12 Shipping & Handling: $9.71 Free shipping -$9.71 Total Before Tax: $53.12 Estimated Tax Collected: $0.00 Order Total $53.12

I'm an amazon junkie now too. No sales tax and free shipping most of the time is hard to beat. Old invoices are always a couple clicks away too.

Where are you located? If you still have this by Thursday when I'm back in town I may grab it, looking to try something different

This is why AZ should have mandatory harvest reporting. Regs say 0% success for early hunt. Maybe if no one reports their harvest then the same people can draw the same tags next year. I'm sure if it showed 75% succcess rate the number of 1st and 2nd applicants would go from 63 to 350. I had 6 pts going into this years draw and was debating putting in for this as 1st choice. Wonder how many points it took to draw this tag?

Shot new arrows, not what I expected ?

So you are saying the the helical fletch made a noticable difference? Which ones did you settle on?
