Savage 111 combo in 25-06 for 270
Norteno replied to khmer6's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
They had this deal for Father's Day and I was also in a rush and couldn't look into it more. Just hit up the Walmart on AZ ave and the 202 and all they had were the combos for $467 -
On a + note, AZ has Cabelas, Bass Pro and Sportsmans. NM has Sportsmans only

BOWTECH Carbon Knight or Carbon Rose???
Norteno replied to rossislider's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
I agree. There will be a lot more money made with the Carbon Knight. Heck, I'll put in a bid. Let us know how to bid -
Dude! You may want to crop out your wifes dirty undies!

Saw 2 today, one on the Red Mountain, and the other on the San Tan
Norteno replied to bowhuntaz1's topic in Sticker Sightings!
I've also seen the white Toyota going north on McQueen as I was coming out of Paseo Vista at about 730am a few weeks back -
I know its a ways, but If you can ever make it down to Rapid City my aunt has the best New Mexican food catering business in the state.

Are these the Monarch 3's or Monarch 5's? Where does the ATB line fall?

The wife and I are invited to a friends place in Munds Park for the 4th. I want to take her to see some Elk. Does anyone know what the road is like from Munds to the lake? FR240? We will be in a AWD Rav4. The other option was going up to Flag then coming back down. Google maps shows them taking about the same amount of time (45 min) which is more driving than I wanted to do.

I started with the rubber doinker which did nothing more for me than hold my wrist sling in place. Then went to 6" beestinger bought off a cwt member. I noticed a slight improvement. 2 weeks ago I bought the Beestinger QD to add an extra inch and allow me to pull off stab when in my bag. While at the range I was able to snap on a 10" beestinger one of the other guys I shoot with had. Wow, did that pin hold steady! I came home and ordered one right away. $65 off of amazon. I'll be doing some trial and error to see how much weight I put out front. Will post pics once everything is dialed in. I haven't started shooting with a loaded quiver yet, so I'll have to see if I realy want to add a sidebar.

I grew up in Northern NM (Norteno) of Spanish descent and have been in AZ (Tucson/Chandler) the last 14 yrs. The longer I live here the more I miss NM. What NM has that AZ lacks is culture, whether it's Spanish, Native American or European. AZ has transplants as it seems nobody claims to be from here. The big city excitement gets old after a while. NM food is also amazing. The big difference is skiing! Snowbowl and Sunrise are a joke. Within a few hours drive you can be in Taos or Wolf Creek (CO). NMGF online draw is years ahead of AZGF. AZ has great lakes and also a beach and ocean (Rocky Pt). During this time of year it is also pretty easy to say I'd take 0 degree weather over 110 any day!

That is pretty sad if they were to get results out that late only 1 week from the start of archery season.

I don't think your points will help them much. I'm pretty sure they add everybody's points together and divide by the number of hunters then that's the points for the group. That's why someone with 21 points would never put in on an app with somebody with 1 point. Oh yea and I assume if it worked out to 2.8 points they would round down. It's the game an fish after all I bought a bonus point only so I won't be rifle hunting, only archery. They put in on their own app and if they draw I will be taking them out. The reason you explained above is exactly why I didn't apply with them.

Can't wait to see your pics. What is your plan if you get activity? Planning to set up a blind, spot and stock? Good Luck
-
Wow, do I have permission to add that as my screen saver? I already know my results. 3x bonus points purchased. I have some friends who applied for the first time so I'm crossing my fingers I'll be helping them.

There is a YouTube video where they shoot a bunch of broadheads at targets filled with water. The toxic cut a core thru target and drained water fastest. Never tried them though
-
No it does big have TBR of TGR (angle compensation)
-
Nobody really? Price drop $175
-
No rabbit pics? Shucks. Why is it if they are in our yards they are cute, but if they're in the desert they are target practice?
-
The next step up from Harbor Freight would be Walmart in Globe.

I tried to order this and when you go to check out it actually changes the pic to the bino strap. My bad....sorry

What year is the bow? If you can wait a couple months until we get closer to Aug and people will start looking again. $200 is a steal.

If you don't have your heart set on the S4 I'd say go with the badlands. It fits 10x42 great and says it will fit 10x50, but I've heard it doesn't fit Viper 15x50. This new version is a fraction of the cost what I paid for mine and can't figure out why. Same specs. I love mine! At under $30 I might just risk it and buy another one http://www.bowhunterssupplystore.com/badlands-bino-basics-apx-211995-prd1.htm
