Yeah that's an old one. I think there was a thread on here about arguing about taking that shot. Kid has a bunch of other videos too, he is no rookie.

I may be on travel for work anywhere from Sept-Nov, so I really don't want to risk getting drawn and not be able to go. I called AZGF and they said I could not decline my tag if I was drawn. I'm waiting until Monday then with much regret putting in for a Bonus Point bringing my total up to 7. Hopefully there is some breaking news Monday and my travel dates will be moved.

Both options also come in 15x56 and the Nikons are cheaper on Amazon. I have heard a few people interested in the Nikon, but when your spending that kind of $$ it's assuring to have the Vortex warranty. The ergonomics of the Nikons are great though. You would have to take them both outside in low light on a tripod to really check either pair out. Because it takes time to publish articles, and get all of the facts and your ducks in a row for a possible world record animal to be brought to light. Drying time to get an official score, maybe getting more than one official P&Y scorer to verify what you think you have, etc. Good luck to John in the panel scoring, AZ might get the world record title! I am surprised it has not leaked before now. Good job to all involved for keeping a lid on the story this long. That makes sense, but as Desertbull reminded us this was leaked out. No disrespect intended.
