Did you actually catch the fish on Horton, because the pic by the river looks like one of my favorite holes on Tonto. I love that area. Our friends have a cabin next to catch-a-trout that we stay at. Thanks for the report

You must have one big freezer ! Good luck

I have these binos and prefer them side by side with my buddies Vipers. Put them on eBay and you'll get $250 for them

I have the exact same gun. Been great to me so far. I was wondering what the value was.

What did you pull the string on? (pun intended)

1st leftover list of deer licenses for 2014, anyone save it?
Norteno replied to twigsnapper's topic in The Campfire
This has been asked on here before. Here is a 2013 list with my notes, can't find 2014 2013 Deer Left Over.pdf -
I finally picked up a loaded 2010 Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4x4 to replace my 2000 prerunner. I usually like doing all my own maintenance and small repair jobs when possible, but with a new baby I have absolutely no time to spend on my truck. I have an annoying squealing sound coming from the drivetrain and I can't pinpoint the noise. So far I ruled out the front brakes which I thought it was and I've greased all my u-joints. I also replaced the front diff and transfer case gear oil since I was unsure when it was done last. I also ruled out the accessory belts since the noise doesn't change with rpm. I still think the problem is a u-joint or carrier bearing. I can only drive around a parking lot with my head stuck out the door for so long. I also hate to just throw parts at it trying to solve the problem. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in the East Valley to take my truck to. I do not want to take it to the stealership.

What do you gain by moving from an entry level bow to a high end set up
Norteno replied to apache12's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
+1 on buying last years bows. Guys on Archerytalk buy a new bow every year. You can get great deals and still get the latest technology. Buy used until you figure out what you like -
No one seemed to recommend diamond brand...is it a good brand? Should I be concerned with the description "Strings and cable are original, but they don't look too bad." Thanks. Where are you located? If you want I can meet you at Paseo Vista range and we can shoot "The Rock" I have for sale. If I can help another person get turned into archery I'll give the bow to you for a great deal. Draw length is 27.5 and draw weight is 50-70#

I agree, tacomaworld is s great resource. What I don't have is time. There is no vibration and the noise is consistent with driveshaft speed, even in neutral. My next troubleshooting step would be to put the rears on jacks, put it in neutral and spin the driveshaft/wheels. If needed have someone run it in gear. (Sketchy). The problem again is time. That is why I'm ready to throw in the towel and just take it in. In the same way guys are posting hoping to be given that honey hole I was hoping we had a Toyota master tech on here who would offer to bring my truck into the dealer after hours. Lol Thanks for the help

I hate to see this bow sitting. Send me your best offer or trade offer. I'm also looking for a tripod with panhead.

Will this work if I cut it in half and use it to make two drinkers out in the National Forest? I would be hauling in water on the back of my quad about 2-3 miles off of the road.

Advice Needed on a Youth 20 Gauge Turkey Setup
Norteno replied to rossislider's topic in Youth Hunters
I know NOTHING about turkey hunting, but do you really aim for the head? -
I thought this was going to be a post about Google Earth, Lol. Half of my enjoyment in preparing my hunt is studying maps, Google earth and trying to judge terrain and guess where they are at.

Did you say NM Turkey?

I felt the same way. AT has a satisfaction rating kinda like eBay for members. The guy I bought mine off of had a great rating and sold lots of stuff. Make sure you get a 2011 with deep groove cams.

Looking to get a quality setup for glassing. My current set-up is junk and I'm looking to upgrade. I want something that will pack down and will fit in my pack and also be able to glass standing (I'm 5'9"). Let me know what you have and how much you want for it. Not interested in pistol grip. Thanks
