Sounds like you are going to be training the bulls to avoid calls and potentially screw up someone elses hunt. It is a nice offer of you but unless you have a tag or are with someone who does have a tag I would stay out of the woods during the peak of archery elk.

I was glassing a group of does across a small canyon when I see a puff of smoke, then another. Then I see a man smoking followed by his kid with a rifle. They spooked the does and they took off running towards me. The kid raises his rifle and points it right at me. I reached in my pack, grabbed my blaze orange vest and started waiving it. Kid continued to look at me through his scope. Once dad saw me he grabbed kid and went back over the hill. I was pissed and hiked to go find them and give them a piece of my mind. They were also on private property. I think that orange vest saved my butt. I wear a vest now if I know other hunters are around.

I am not in the market for new binoculars, but always looking for a good deal. I made an offer and the guy counter offered $450. Instead of buying these and try to make money off of them I am just going to provide this lead to the cwt community. I jump at opportunities to go up to Salt Lake for work. Usually I take my skis in the winter, but the spring and summer are great too. Big Cottonwood Canyon didn't disappoint today.
