I got a good deal on these online, but after receiving them I found out they do not have a tripod mount. I called Nikon to confirm and they said you can only use the strap-type mount on these. The glass and field of view on these is EXCELLENT. My only comparison is side by side with Monarch5 12x42 and Viper HD 15x50. These are better than both. I just can't get over the fact that I can't mount these to my tripod. While on the phone with Nikon I told the rep that I did not buy these from an authorized dealer, but asked if I could still register them. She said no problem and asked for my email to send me the info I need to send in (address and S/N). I said I would hold off on that in case I sell them. They are covered under a 25 year no-fault warranty. If these are damaged they will replace them with the current Monarch 7 for a small shipping fee. Based on recommendations on Facebook I tried Christian Brothers Auto on Ocotillo just East of AZ Ave. I was surprised to walk out of there for just over $100 to fix my AC. Really nice place and owner even followed up later in the week to make sure AC was still blowing cold.

My Badlands bino pack has a clip on the bottom. I attach my loop to it while I stand and glass. Can't walk with it

I shoot a 4-pin slider and practice out to 100yds. Not because I'll ever shoot an animal at that range, but if you can shoot groups at 100 coming back down to 50 yds is easy. Having a short DL is really your limiting factor on KE. I recommend getting a slider just because it's fun. The only thing that sucks is having to walk so far to retrieve your arrows. Are you setting up for elk? If not I'd come down on arrow weight to reduce your time of flight.

Where are you located? I might make a deal on an RPM360, but if it falls through I may be interested.
