Actually, for womens bows IBO is 28.5, 60lbs and 300g arrow.

Is that a collar on that wolf? Are those trail cam pics or did you actually see the sucker? I'd be pissed if that was my backyard

There is a girl at the range that shoots the Bowtech Eva Shockey and that thing is sweet! 3.3lbs and IBO of 332fps

Finally got around to putting together clips and pictures of my elk hunt. Not professional by any means. Hope you enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvxvqN-9H9o

That bed is almost too nice. I have the quad cab and need to push up the passenger seat to fit the car seat in the back.

@GJMauro12 The stalk is all on a GoPro Session head cam. It is facing to the left to line up with my bow shot, that is why it was constantly looking right at the tree while I peeked around it. The other clips are from an iphone. I made a lot of the stalk 4x speed to shorten the video.

The thought would be pay up only if they were drawn. If not, nobody loses and everyone gets a bonus point.

UPDATE: I finally got around to putting together a video of my hunt. First time doing this, hope you enjoy. https://youtu.be/DvxvqN-9H9o

UPDATE: I finally got around to putting together a video of my hunt. First time doing this, hope you enjoy. I didn't plan on hunting this year because I wanted to spend time with my Dad hunting in New Mexico. I don't know how many more seasons he has in him but he loves hunting. Rather than buy bonus point I decided to swing for the fences and put in for 23N with only 7BP although Flatlander calculated the odds for me less than 2%. To my surprise I was drawn and then realized the obstacles I have in front of me. On top of a busy work schedule that has me traveling I also did a double move since we sold our house and moved into a new build. Closing was late and we moved in 3 days prior to the opener I briefly looked at guides although paying someone to go find an animal for me is not my thing. The guides I talked to were supportive of my DIY decision and great guys though. To make things easier I rented a place in the unit from VRBO. I received tons of support from the Cwt community and want to thank the following guys. Azstropps Wrk2Hnt CRAZYBUCK guyhaz bbd1234 flatline metau SWDesertRat Huntmoore Flatlander azelkhunter2 I had my #1,2,3 spots picked out prior to the hunt. The night before the opener I drove into another spot I wanted to check out and the place was lit up. I parked the truck and there must have been 40 elk surrounding us bugling like crazy. My plans changed right then. The following morning we set up an hour before light. I chased bugles left and right but never caught up to any Bulls. That afternoon we set up deep in the canyon. The Bulls were making their way down from the hills yet never got down before dark. Saw a couple monsters up there I could have easily taken with rifle. The next morning we hiked deeper in and chased bugles again. Over the final ridge there were several Bulls on the opposite side. I made the decision to drop my pack and go hard after them. I was in full ninja mode as I went down into wash and up opposite hill. Wind was blowing right to left so I went after bull in front of me. I could hear him raking a bush so I snuck from tree to tree until I could lay eyes on him. I peaked around corner, saw a wide rack and an extra off his left side. He was standing perfect broadside. I ranged him at 60yds, took a deep breath, drew behind tree then swung around it. Shot was just like practice. I heard the whack, saw him buckle then trot off. I moved up and sent another arrow that missed. I then hit the ground and hit the cow call. I watched him disappear behind brush. My Dad watched the entire thing from across canyon and said he heard shot. I marked my shot location with tape and waited for my Dad to make his way over. We found good blood and backed out back to truck for lunch and to offload some weight and call a friend to help us with pack out. After waiting for my friend to arrive and the hike back in 6 hours had passed. We found my bull less than 100 yds from where I hit him in some nasty thick brush. The GraveDigger did some nasty damage. He was not one of the monsters we had seen earlier, but was a perfect 6x7 to me. None of us had ever seen a bull this big. We did gutless method and my friend and I packed out rear quarters while my Dad got backstraps. Hung front quarters from a tree and covered head and cape with plastic and a bunch of brush. A storm rolled in just as we were losing light. The pack out was one of the hardest things I've ever done and every step hurt. We returned the next morning to retrieve the rest. Luckily nothing had found the meat When it was done and over I had no regrets I didn't get a bigger bull. This was my first elk and it was with a bow and with my Dad. I know the score but am keeping it to myself. I was also able to get home early to help my wife who was still living out of boxes. Good luck to everyone still out there. If you need help I can share where I saw some Giants. Oh yeah. I got the entire stalk on GoPro head cam. Once I can do some video editing I'll share the YouTube link. trim.E2875736-14CA-4D05-A424-0CA09EDC7234.MOV

You could make a nice dime by applying with another willing hunter for a premier archery hunt! Use point guard if you need to back out of hunt. A 23N/S early archery tag would be worth at least $1k to me if I weren't out of country in Sept. A lot more to others. Just saying

You can get the 15x56 SLC NEU for $1500 and the older (light green) for $1400. These are pretty standard to good prices.
-
Not sure, but apply for that hunt and the youth deer hunt which occur at the same time. Stay at the ADA camp and it is a blast for the kids.

I have a Cabelas $50 gift card that will be tough for me to use because I don't want to deal with the 45minute drive. Anyone out there have a Bass Pro, Sportsmans, or Target gift card they would want to swap? I'm located in Chandler

What an idiot. Let me try to catch and hold onto a wild animal. Hope he enjoys series after series of rabies shots. If that bobcat is not running from humans than there is something wrong.

Any reports on how the 24A elk hunters did this year? Looks like 2015 success was pretty good.

wut I hunted DIY with my Dad, yet met a lot of the other 15 hunters before the hunt and we shared stories after. I didn't kill a monster bull but was happy with my hunt. I did see some huge elk, but they were 2-300 yards away right as it got dark. If I didn't shoot mine I would have been up on their ridge the next afternoon. Like I said, still think about that hunt everyday and the what-ifs.

I knew A3 sat a few water holes in the south end of 23N this year and picked them off one after another. 370", 390" Not my thing. 23's are also GroundPounders back yard. Cash and Waylon are good guys. I'd also consider Dave Bruns who guides 23N/S. He is on this forum. azelkhunter I tagged out 23N early archery last year early and literally think of that hunt everyday and the monsters I saw that I didn't chase. I can't wait to head up there when sheds drop.

After months of going back and forth with Amazon on this purchase I landed out with two drop-in sinks. The extra one I have is not perfectly straight on the left edge and the provided brackets wouldn't work with my cabinet to pull it down. My options were to try liquid nails or just fill the high area with more silicone. In the end Amazon sent me a new sink which is not much better but I got liquid nails to work. So now I have an extra $375 sink hopefully someone could use. Comes with all packaging, parts and paperwork. Looking to trade for gift cards at bass pro, cabelas, sportsmans because I need new boots. Also could use 9mm ammo and tripod. Either that or cash is King. Let me know what you got or send me offers, ANY OFFERS. Was reading the comments on the guys GoFundMe page. People are bashing him for not having insurance because ObamaCare is soooo easy to get. Also celebrating that they confirmed it was not illegals that were responsible (which is not confirmed).

No one can use this? By offers I I meant ANY offers.

Need help with Diamond Atomic youth bows
Norteno replied to Elkaddict's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
My guess would be Ross Outdoors. They have been Bowtech dealers for longer than most. -
There is ALWAYS a chance it will happen just like that. I'd drive 2 hours if it meant only hunting for 1. Congrats on a great buck. Did you call the wife to come get the kids, or did you have more movies?

We did cheap laminate because it was just our laundry room. What we saved going cheap cost me more buying a decent drop-in sink. Yes, if I did it again I would have used Corian, Granite or something I could mount an under mount sink.
